Taking a moment to soak it all in before the celebration starts🥰 🍾 by @lacedvinylshoppe

I absolutely love when couples take a few quiet moments to step into their reception space before the guests arrive. Whether it’s because they chose to do a first look or simply built a little extra time into their timeline, it’s such a sweet chance to soak it all in together before the celebration begins.

Kaitlin and Walker knew they wanted photos on their custom dance floor before it became the heart of their incredible reception, and I’m so glad they did! These are the moments that let you pause, take a deep breath, and admire everything you’ve spent months planning before it’s filled with all your favorite people. ✨ by @lacedvinylshoppe

That city. This store. I loved everything about my time there. And not because it served my favorite juice. What I loved the most was there. Me.

I bought my very first hat here. And not just any hat. A hella gorgeous hat the was insanely affordable! Hahahaha

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

And look at me today…ironic. by @lacedvinylshoppe

Circa 2021
My very first time there. One of my favorite trips to date. Had the best memories. See, I am a good lay(er). “Vinyl joke”…

I almost didn’t make it yesterday. I feel like this is an ongoing problem. I sat in despair and began to set things into motion. I closed my eyes and began to inhale and exhale. Over and over just as needed. I cried and cried. Suddenly, I had an extra passenger. She talked me off the ledge…and stayed by my side for the duration of this entire day.

I know my story telling skills suck. But this isn’t really for you. It’s to empty my mind.

Man, I WISH I was beautiful. by @lacedvinylshoppe

Every day for as long as I could remember, I would lie to myself a little at time. Telling myself that it was for the right reasons. That the sacrifices were for the best. The investments were necessary. The money, the people, the time…all part of the big picture. “What if this is all real?” I would tell myself. And here I am today. Stupid boy. by @lacedvinylshoppe

My most favorite place. I know it’s silly because I’m grown, but I’ve never not smiled when I was there. I haven’t smiled much these last few days. Today was much harder than I anticipated. I hope no one ever feels like me. I really tried today to find quiet. It didn’t work.
I am so sorry I didn’t answer your calls. I don’t know how to accept the help. One day closer or further. However you wanna look at it. by @lacedvinylshoppe

I could post hundreds of jobs that I personally put my blood and sweat into. Jobs that never needed kudos or praise. Events that weren’t more fantastic or beautiful than someone else’s. Simply works of art that made someone happy.

When I discovered that I could give someone “Happy”… I just ran with it. No questions asked. Here I am nearly 2 decades later. Still playing with stickers. Still trying to give someone their “Happy”.

Thank you @evografx for the opportunity to be part of someone’s “Happy”. by @lacedvinylshoppe

Circa 2017.

A lot of you reached out today after my last 2 posts. Thank you. I’m definitely not in the best place right now. It’s not to say that things will improve or won’t. But I can honestly say that I wasn’t prepared. I don’t know more today than I did yesterday. I do know that I unintentionally found a way to cry out without losing my mind. I see you all for the first time again and it is helping me find myself. I love you guys… by @lacedvinylshoppe

I know this isn’t a vinyl posting…

I took this photo in 2024. It was the most beautiful experience. But what I learned since then hasn’t ever settled in my mind. That moment was temporary. And like so many other moments, they were gone just as fast as they came. Long story short, I didn’t live…whether in the moment or just with happiness. I didn’t give it the attention it deserved and it was gone sooner than I expected.

I’ve lost a lot over the last several years. At no one’s fault but my own. The most important thing I lost was myself.

It’s so easy to ramble on and go down that rabbit hole, but that’s not what this is for…

It’s to say hello, again. I’ve missed you guys and I’ll be back really soon. Promise…mean it. by @lacedvinylshoppe
