@ggghareeb
SESSION:
Release Technique Contemporary Dance
This session welcomes both dancers and non-dancers, offering an introduction to the Release Technique, a key approach in contemporary dance.
Participants will explore fluid and efficient movement by working with gravity, breath, and momentum while releasing unnecessary tension.
Through guided exercises and improvisation, the session focuses on body awareness, joint exploration, and creating expressive shapes in space, fostering a deeper connection with oneself, others, and the environment.
No dance experience is neededโjust curiosity and a willingness to move in a safe, creative space.
PERFORMANCE (30/12/24):
Wind, From Far Away
This performance is a journey through the flow of emotions over time, reflecting the progression from exhaustion and struggle to self-realization and the joy of living.
It explores the distant clarity of transformation and the presence of hope as we embrace each emotional phase, shaping our shared human experience. The piece celebrates the beauty of growth and the essence of being human, transcending time and place.

![Capoeira Workshop by Cantaloupa
@cantaloupa
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that dates back to about the 17th century. Capoeira incorporates elements of dance, music, acrobatics, as well as mysticism and magic ritual. Hidden in the musical and rhythmic elements of the form, violent kicks were disguised as passionate dance movements,
It is known for quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for a wide variety of kicks, spins, and highly mobile techniques. Capoeira will put you in the best shape of your life, get ready to kick, dance, and sing, and play the capoeira musical instruments.
It also has other mental, psychological, and educational benefits based on its philosophy that was inherited from the great founders and fathers of Capoeira Mestre Bimba and Mestra Pastinha.
