Books that invite us to ask questions 💡
Books that spark curiosity, develop critical thinking, and help children understand the world, form their own opinions, and discover that their voices and rights matter. A collection that opens conversations about politics, democracy, citizenship, and children’s rights, inviting them to engage with and make sense of the world around them during election season. 🗳️
People Power ✊
Age: 6+
A simple look at how regular people join together to change their neighborhoods and countries, showing the true power of community.
Los pequeños cristaleros ⏳
Age: 8+
A story that looks at history and real-life struggles through the eyes of a child. It is a great starting point for honest talks about fairness and human dignity.
Llévame con tu líder 👥
Age: 6+
A clever book about power and leadership. It uses humor to ask a big question: how exactly do we choose the people who make decisions for everyone else?
Legisladores del futuro 🏛️
Age: 8+
An easy guide on how rules and laws are made, reminding young readers that they have the power to shape their own future.
Books are the perfect space to start big conversations. 📖
During election seasons and public debates, these stories leave plenty of room for kids to find their own answers. They do not tell kids what to think or make judgments. Instead, they just give them the tools to look at the world on their own.
What questions do these books bring up at home or in school?
