why would you give someone else grace but not extend it to yourself? get up and get back on track. rome wasn’t built in a day ❤️ by @lanajones1

everything was clearly baked with “come tuh muh” 🤤
.
thank you @cheezonbakery for sending me this delicious box of treats 🫶🏾
.
IG said they won’t be recommending my video to new audiences because it’s over 3mins 🙄 so, go share this review with someone who will want nice tings for the independence season 😝 by @lanajones1

gih me bad feels instantly 😩 by @lanajones1

the audio is from a stranger that slid into my DMs. i asked her permission to share 🙏🏾
.
her voice note warmed my heart so deeply. everyone is navigating their own battles and for her to go out of her way to say such kind things really means a lot. i messaged @bassabassabodyu to share her words and i told him that to impact even JUST ONE PERSON tells me we have won 💕
.
her well wishes reminded me of bits and pieces of myself that i lost in the last 20yrs of my life. grateful to have impacted this lady and i hope i’m doing the same for any woman over 40 also starting over and rediscovering herself ✨ by @lanajones1

half way through RDBU and here are a few of my thoughts ✨
.
i’m in such a better headspace than i was just 6 months ago and it feels good to allow myself to prioritize me🥂
.
ngl, tracking macros is a lot of work and there are many, many days i don’t meet a few of my targets but rome wasn’t built in a day. understanding them is half the battle and as i continue, i know i’ll get better with it❤️

your fitness journey is yours, and yours alone. do what feels good for you and brings you mental clarity 🫶🏾 by @lanajones1

this avocado & chicken rice bowl was DELICIOUS 🤤
.
once you’re on the RDBU program with @bassabassabody you’ll have access to a variety of meals to choose from that can help you meet your nutrition goals! this one is a bangerrrrrr❤️ by @lanajones1

these days, i dread sundays. it’s when i see how much work i did during the week in the gym and the kitchen. personal accountability feels SO HARD! 😮‍💨
.
i keep reminding myself that i’m not trying to be a model!! BUT i do want to look leaner and stronger. and i keep telling myself it will pay off. but when, chile?! 😩😩😭😭🥹
.
i even take photos in 2 different outfits and use different poses because i simply cannot stand the sight of the flabby hips and brawling bumpa and the fatty bellyyyyyy 😭😭
.
it’s been a month and @bassabassabody told me he can see progress with his trainer eye, bless his heart. i figure he doesn’t want to stress me out more by telling me otherwise 🤣🤣
.
all jokes aside, i’m not going to give up. i thought having a child would teach me patience. but this hay?!?! this is humbling me 🥴😩😮‍💨 by @lanajones1

i love a piece of bashment while i’m working out 😝 i don’t know who packle boss is but master mind studio mixed this for her (and clearly me) cause i got it on repeat 🫰🏾😮‍💨🔥
.
listen though!! since i’ve been consistent the past month with RDBU @bassabassabody my knees have been much stronger! i always hated squats and reverse lunges but i can’t believe i’m starting to like them 🙌🏾new knees, WHO DIS?? 😌💅🏾 by @lanajones1
