🔊 | My camera roll from an outreach mission I had the privilege of being part of with @peoplematterfoundation in Mpumalanga.

What began as an opportunity to stand in the poverty gap alongside the community of Mahushu became so much more—a front-row seat to the unmistakable hand of God moving powerfully among His people. We witnessed lives being touched, hope being restored, and compassion expressed in tangible ways that only Yahweh can orchestrate.

The experience brought to life the words of Matthew 9:35, as Christ's heart for the people was reflected through acts of service, love, and ministry. What started as outreach became a profound reminder that where there is need, God is already at work, inviting us to participate in His redemptive story. by @langalombuso

I AM AN AFRICAN | "I owe my being to the hills and the valleys, the mountains and the glades, the rivers, the deserts, the trees, the flowers, the seas and the ever-changing seasons that define the face of our native land...

...The fragrances of nature have been as pleasant to us as the sight of the wild blooms of the citizens of the veld.
The dramatic shapes of the #Drakensberg, the soil-coloured waters of the Lekoa, iGqili noThukela, and the sands of the Kgalagadi, have all been panels of the set on the natural stage on which we act out the foolish deeds of the theatre of our day." - Thabo Mbeki

October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth
▪ ▪
It is one of the most common cancers among women in South Africa and is increasing rapidly.
▪ ▪
Early detection of the condition can lead to effective treatment and a positive prognosis. About 90% of patients survive for many years after diagnosis.
▪ ▪
Regular self-breast examination and regular mammograms are key to early detection.
▪ ▪
Women in SA have one in nine chance of getting cancer. A hard or painless lump or mass in the breast is often the first symptom to be noticed. Other symptoms or signs of possible breast cancer include changes to the shape of the nipple, a bloodstained discharge from the nipple, nipple tenderness or a nipple rash, a change in the texture of the skin of the breast, dimpling of the skin, an inverted nipple, or a lump under the arm.
