My connection with dancing is deeper than many things I've ever known. No words can explain how it feels to look to your right and your left and know your brothers/sisters are right there with you smiling and reciprocating energy.
The power and significance of African dance is so inspiring. The way our ancestors came together to bring movements and rhythms that represent our ways of life.

This audio is me and my sisters singing as we are preparing to perform. For me it is a way to center myself and connect to the spirit of the dance we are interacting with.

Just finished up this design!
I was inspired by many Afrikan Masks I've seen growing up. I have always loved how detailed and different they are, and the beauty they possess. This is my interpretation in Acrilic.

*I also learned that it is not easy to paint on fabric😭
