and that’s wisdom, I guess ❤️‍🩹 by @lanslister
Pack like a runner. Early miles on the treadmill, then a quick turnaround before whatever comes next. When you train, every item earns its place. Shoes for the miles, a headband for the hard reps, a watch to keep you on track. Plus your SURI toothbrush so your ritual stays the same, wherever the day takes you. by @lanslister
When the city gets loud, this is where I go 🏔️ AD Usually all of my runs are in the city, but ive been finding more peace lately from taking myself out and running in environments like this. I stop worrying about my pace and the distance ive covered, and genuinely just run for the sake of running. Its easy to get lost though when youre not familiar with a route, which is why ive been using @samsunguk Galaxy Watch Ultra2 with its trail running features. I can easily upload maps and use Route Navigation, while Dual-frequency GPS keeps me on track so im able to make it back in one piece 😅 And with up to 60 hours of battery life, I dont have to worry about running out of charge when I’m out exploring for longer. So with no races currently in the calendar, I think youll find me doing a lot more of this! #TrailRunning #GalaxyWatchUltra2 #RecobythePros by @lanslister

GOT IT DONE!! 02:39:18 - The Flu Race 12 weeks of training, coming off the back of a layoff after London where I ran 2:45, with one goal in mind. SUB 2:40 Things were feeling great. Then about 48hours out, I started feeling rough. High temp, congestion, the stuff you don’t want before a race. I put it down to a crazy week of filming, events and activations… turns out it was actually a monster flu 😂. I wasnt really telling anyone though and just kept a front up of being confident, which I somewhat still was. I just wanted to get to the start line and see what I had. The first half felt great. Maybe a little too good. I came through halfway in 1:18, knowing that pace might come back to bite me. And at 35K, it did. I pulled over to the side of the course and genuinely contemplated giving up. My body didn’t want to do this today. Had about 30-40 seconds to myself, started calculating whether sub 2:40 was still possible, and ultimately decided I had to keep pushing. Somehow found something in that last 7K and I honestly dont know where it came from, cause I was spent. The mind was fighting, the body was trying to give up, but i just kept moving. CHIP TIME: 02:39:18, SUB 2:40!! A little bit of a Flu Game situation 😅 Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way ❤️ @prodirectrunning @adidasrunning @adidasuk @wmmajors @danprettejohn @rachsanderss @lexiw_running & Coach @lewisthurlbourne for putting up with my mad schedule and listening to all my post training ramblings! Hours away now - GOAL: Sub 2:40 🇩🇪 “It’s better to shoot and miss, than to let time run out and wonder what if.” In the midst of what’s been a pretty challenging year in my life, it’s a blessing to have made it this far. A year of rebuilding. In and out of the running shoes. Some of the greatest runs and sessions of my life, so far. And some of the most revealing, insightful discussions about myself. Funny how you can under achieve in certain aspects of your life, and excel in others. But what happens in training is only the tip of the iceberg. And what happens in your life is only as deep as you make it. It’s time to find out what lies beneath the surface. It’s so much bigger than running. The Adidas PRO 5 is here! 😮‍💨 Feeling so blessed to have been given these early and to have been able to put them through their paces during my marathon prep! I didnt really have many expectations for this shoe, having only run in the PRO 4 for the first time earlier this year. But what a shoe this is! Adidas say these were made with the same innovations as the Pro Evo 3. The shoe that paved the way for the first ever sub-2 hour marathon earlier this year in London by @sabastiansawe. Pretty epic stuff! Im really looking forward to racing in these in Berlin this weekend, where im hoping to PB. And after the training ive put in I feel even more confident with these on my feet! Also, a big thank you to @prodirectrunning and @conall_whelan for the additional footage. @adidasrunning you did it again! by @lanslister
