My word for 2024 is SOAR ✨.

It comes from the Bible verse Isaiah 40:31 NIV ❤️.

God is SO Faithful ❤️.

Not long after being hired, my SVP asked me how I felt about being on the cover of @wine_spectator one day. Cheers to being one step closer 🥂.

I know my Mama is proud 😇.

I am so honored to share that I am now an official member of Wine Enthusiast Magazine's FIRST Future 40 Class! In THIS moment, I give all honor and glory to God. In THIS moment, I remember that a Dream Deferred is NOT a Dream Denied. In THIS moment, I know that my steps are ordered in such a divine way that even on the hardest of days, if I'm obedient and continue to show up, God will show out.

Receiving this recognition is a dream that I thought had passed. By the time I found my stride in this industry, I had "aged out" of the previous 40 under 40 requirement. When I read that the criteria was changing this year, I felt even further away from this dream because of the many deserving professionals that would now be considered. Then I got the email that changed it all. I consider it a sincere privilege to be included with such an incredible group of individuals!

When I started making my Wine Clue Wednesday videos over five years ago after being put on the spot by @brittyoung ☺️, I simply wanted to inspire someone to be what they could see in this industry. It's been a crazy journey of highs, lows, and ideas that didn't pan out. It's also been a journey covered in Faith, Favor and Blessings. I'm grateful for it all. I'm grateful for those who believed in my crazy ideas and supported me from Day One. Thank you to my Husband @illadelph1 for talking me off the ledge so many times, and always reminding me of my why. Thank you to my baby girl Emeri who's watched me educate people about wine since she started walking and continues to cheer me on. Thank you to @kellisaysso for helping me launch TLTV. Thank you to @frenchspencer for helping me create and co-executive produce Wine Etiquette 101. Thank you to my family and friends who have poured into me over and over again. Thank you to my Guardian Angels who guide me every day 😇. Thank you to my @SommFoundation , @BlackWineProfessionals , and new @SommCon family! There's plenty more work to do, and I'm grateful to do it with you all! Thank you to each and every person that has joined me and encouraged me along this journey. I hope that I return the favor. Cheers Y’all 🥂!

It’s my Previvor day🩷! 10 years ago today I went through a prophylactic double mastectomy with reconstruction. In 2016, a few months after Emeri was born I found out that I have the genetic mutation, PALB2. At the time, it was a newer discovery that coupled with my family history, put my lifetime risk of getting bc at 58%. After many conversations, prayers, and consultations, I made the choice to go through this preventative measure. It’s hard to believe that it was 10 years ago, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Our village showed up and showed out and the peace of mind I have is priceless.

This is my breast cancer awareness month PSA:
- [ ] Check your boobs monthly.
- [ ] Check with your doctor to see if genetic testing is right for you.
- [ ] Ignorance is not bliss.
- [ ] If you have questions about my journey, I’m happy to answer them 🫶🏽.

Emeri’s Parents🇮🇹. Love is all around ❤️. Cheers to the Bride & Groom 🥂! by @larissacdubose

Babygirl ceases to amaze me. Last night, when discussing the @sfacnupes 5k, she surely said I would like to run it with you! Say less! Not only did @djlilskill run the full distance, but she came in 2nd place for 19 yrs and under! 🥈(Prolly would have been 1st if she wasn’t waiting around for me 😝). Great time with my impressive little one and the #RenaissanceNupes. Amazing way to kick off Father’s Day Weekend! #DreamersOfAchievement5K

This is 49 🎂🥂✨😌

The 40/40 Club has been better than good to me and I step into my final year in it with gratitude for my beautiful family, wonderful village, and God’s continued grace and favor 🩷. I still got some things on my list to check off before the 50 milestone next year and I stand rooted in God’s promises that the BEST is yet to come! Jeremiah 29:11 by @larissacdubose
