🎄🎁 THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! 🎁🎄 We are proud to kick off our Annual Holiday Food & Toy Drive! As the holidays approach, we are reminded of the importance of giving, sharing, and coming together to make this time of year special. Cerritos Sheriff’s Station is once again collecting donations to help bring a little extra joy, warmth, and happiness to families this holiday season. We will be delivering food, gift cards, and toys to the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, where they will be distributed to families of young enlisted service members stationed at Camp Pendleton. We are also proud to donate toys to the Spark of Love Toy Drive at Los Cerritos Center, helping bring smiles and happiness to even more children this holiday season. DONATION ITEMS NEEDED: * New, unwrapped toys * Nonperishable food donations * Gift cards (especially helpful for children ages 10 and older) DONATION DROP-OFF: There will be two donation boxes located in the Cerritos Sheriff’s Station lobby for anyone wishing to contribute to our holiday drives. DONATION DEADLINE: Sunday, December 13 🎁 IMPORTANT GIFT CARD DROP-OFF INFORMATION: Please do NOT place gift cards in the donation boxes. Instead, bring them directly to the Sheriff’s Station counter and advise our staff that they are for the Holiday Drive. Year after year, our community continues to show what the true spirit of the holidays is all about. We are so grateful for your generosity, kindness, and continued support. Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference and brings a little more holiday magic to someone’s life. From all of us at Cerritos Sheriff’s Station, THANK YOU for helping us make this holiday season a little brighter! ❤️🎄 #CerritosSheriffsStation #HolidayFoodDrive #HolidayToyDrive #SparkOfLove #CampPendleton SeasonOfGiving CommunitySupport by @lasdcerritos
🏆 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CERRITOS STATION HONOREES! 🏆 We are incredibly proud to recognize Deputy Alvarez, Deputy Viveros, and retired Deputy Mallaiux for receiving the Lifesaving Award, and Julian Mata and Preston Hoang for receiving the Humanitarian Award at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department 2026 Valor Awards Ceremony. These awards recognize an extraordinary incident that occurred on March 29, 2025, when a toddler fell into the lake at Don Knabe Regional Park in the City of Cerritos. Two young bystanders spotted the child, immediately called 911, and guided responding deputies to the location. Deputies pulled the unresponsive child from the water and immediately initiated CPR, ultimately saving the child’s life. This remarkable incident is a powerful reminder of how courage, quick thinking, teamwork, and compassion can make the ultimate difference. To Deputy Alvarez, Deputy Viveros, retired Deputy Mallaiux, Julian Mata, and Preston Hoang, congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! We are incredibly proud of you and grateful for the lives you have touched. Your actions truly embody the meaning of service and heroism. 💙👏 #CerritosSheriffsStation #LASD #ValorAwards2026 #LifesavingAward #HumanitarianAward CerritosProud HeroesAmongUs by @lasdcerritos

💗 PINK PATCHES, BIG SUPPORT! 💗 Our deputies proudly wore pink patches on their uniforms in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎀 Although October is coming to an end, awareness, support, and the fight against breast cancer never stop. This is a reminder that we must continue to stand together, support those battling this disease, honor the survivors, and remember those we have lost. Let’s keep spreading awareness, showing compassion, and supporting one another all year long. 💗 Together, we stand strong! 🎀 #BreastCancerAwareness #PinkPatchProject #CerritosSheriffsStation #StrongerTogether #SupportTheFight 💗 by @lasdcerritos
