Your clients will thank you for learning these two hacks ⬇️ Two small aftercare steps we’ve added into our appointments — inspired by techniques used by optometrists — have made SUCH a difference in our clients’ comfort, retention, and overall experience. Less irritation. Fresher feeling eyes. Happier clients that keep coming back 🤍 Most lash artists are taught lashes… but not the science behind eye health during and after the service. That’s exactly why we created our education alongside optometrists specifically for lash artists. We’re changing the standard of lash education one healthy set of eyes at a time ✨ DM us “EYES” for course info 👁️ by @lashin_out
Tape back the top layer. Every time! There’s a whole bottom layer of lashes hiding under there — if you don’t tape back, you can’t see them, you can’t isolate them, and you miss them. That’s where the patchy sets and the retention complaints come from. Two seconds of tape = a fuller set that actually lasts. Save this for your next appointment 🤍 We teach the little things like this in our 1:1 mentor trainings too — comment TAPE for the sign-up link. #lasheducation #lashtipsandtricks #lashing #lashartist by @lashin_out
Don’t freak out… but there’s only 2 more lash fills until 2027 😅 Clients- Don’t forget to book your holiday lash fills. It’s our business time of year! 😳 Lash artists — send this one to your clients. Those holiday fills are booking up fast, and two fills is all that’s left to end the year with perfect lashes. Keep your station stocked for the rush: adhesives, trays, aftercare. Shop through the link in bio 🤍 #LashinOut #LashArtist #YYCLashes #LashFills #lashpro by @lashin_out
My students always ask me what primer I use… None. I don’t use one. I prime the lashes with saline solution, then hypochlorous acid — optometrist recommended. That’s the whole routine. Clean lashes, healthy eyes, nothing harsh sitting on the lash line. Your retention doesn’t come from a primer bottle. It comes from clean, properly prepped lashes. Want the full breakdown on lash + eye health? Comment EYES and I’ll send you the link to the optometrist-led course 🤍 #calgarylashes #yyclashes #lashartist #lasheducation by @lashin_out

Shake it, baby! 💃🏼🖤 Did you know your lash adhesive ingredients can separate when sitting between appointments? 👀 This is especially important with UV/LED adhesives, where photoinitiators and other ingredients need to be properly dispersed throughout the formula for consistent performance! That’s why shaking your adhesive before every lash set is a MUST! 🙌🏼 ✨ Helps evenly distribute ingredients ✨ Promotes consistent adhesive performance ✨ Saves your hands from all that manual shaking ✨ Makes your lash prep quick and effortless! Because your hands have enough work to do already! 😉 🔥 Our Lashin Out Adhesive Shaker is currently 20% OFF! 🛍️ Shop now at lashinoutshop.ca #LashinOut #AdhesiveShaker #UVLashes #LashAdhesive #LashArtistEssentials by @lashin_out

Stop buying products you don’t know how to use yet❕ If you’re investing in UV/LED lash products but no one actually taught you how to use them safely on real eyes, with real chemicals and real light — you’re risking your client’s eye health and your own reputation. A product is only as good as your training with it. That’s exactly why I run a FREE in-person UV/LED lash course for lash artists. You’ll learn how to use these products properly and safely, step by step — so you can offer this service with confidence, not guesswork. Next session: **Tuesday, October 27** at The Beauty Block. And yes, it’s free (just a $50 deposit, refunded as in-store credit when you show up). Spots are limited — comment UV for registration by @lashin_out
