My entree for @sophieroy.art dtiys 🥰
I had so much fun exploring these new brushes, making it all look a bit more textured? I dunno how to describe it but it's def one of my favourite pieces recently.

I also wanted to try adding small animations, i did that a long long time ago and thought it'd be a cute addition.

Thanks for hosting this very cute dtiys Sophie 💕

Sketch i made a little while ago, trying to push myself to make her face more unique. I gotta admit, I'm definitely victim of he same face syndrome 🤡

A lil comfort sketch ✏️
Had a break from the 'pushing myself out of the comfort zone' drawings and went back to a quick headportrait 😌

Faerie Rogue 🧚‍♀️🗡

Omg guys she's finally finished. This drawing has taken me the most time of anything I've ever made. Which makes sense because i barely draw full body and/or backgrounds. I've looked at this drawing for so long, i can't look at it anymore lol. I'm proud though! Really pushed myself with this one.

Anyway, now that my 5th token design is finished, I've finally ordered the actual cards! Stay tuned 👀

Soldier 🗡
Yet another art piece for my MTG token designs! I'm so excited to get them printed. Two more designs to go before placing the order 👀

Baby flying bisons 🥰💖
Another illustration i made for MTG! I will be printing these to use with my Appa deck 🤩

A design specially made for MTG: a food token!
Even though the subject is not a character, i wanted to draw a cute girl, as per usual. Sooo why not a cute mushroom girl! I did want to include actual food so i made a floaty hand holding a mushroom on a stick. Yes, mushroom girl eating a mushroom. Ha.

Ive been drawing more designs and will soon be printing my first 5 designs to be sold on Etsy and Cardmarket! So if you're a MTG player and like my art, keep your eyes on my Etsy!

Drawing these designs have been a lot of fun. Its pushing me creatively and giving me more motivation to draw. Yay!
-
Also, i shared this design on a MTG sub on Reddiy and got called out for using AI 🤡 It was quite the experience, not posting my art there again lol.

Bringing back posting sketches and WIPs! I also wanted to share some thoughts about my art and this account, a lot of text so feel free to skip 💖

I started this account in 2020 just to keep track of my progress. I thought it would be fun to join the art community and maybe make some friends. I never expected my account to grow as much as it did.

I used to post anything I made, even the unfinished stuff. Sketches, WIPs, things I didn’t really like. It didn’t matter to me, but then my posts started getting more interactions. I suddenly got flooded with notifications every time I posted and my account grew really fast. It changed the way I looked at my art and this account.

I got more picky and more perfectionistic, less relaxed. I stopped posting progress pics and only shared things I thought were 'good enough'. It had to fit on my feed, be better than other drawings and I started thinking about perfect times/days to post.

IG’s algorithm is tough. If you don’t post a few times a week your account becomes less visible. Even though it shouldn’t matter, it drained my passion so much that I ended up in this on and off 3 year hiatus with only a few drawings a year. I really miss those old days.

So I’ve been trying to bring it back. I’ve been drawing more lately. I still struggle with posting things I don’t think are good enough, but I want to start letting that go. So here I am, posting a sketch of the drawing I’m working on rn.

I recently started drawing MTG cards and it really reignited my excitement to draw. I’m looking forward to being here more again 🥺 by @latabia_

Very very delayed dtiys of @tangetsun
I actually nearly had it finished for the deadline but didn't feel motivated anymore to finish it when it passed lol. Buuut better late than never 😌

For my dear friend Sophia 💖
She's always so supportive of my art journey, and life in general. Het last portrait was made in 2022, so it was time for an upgrade. Made this one for her bday, a bit late due to a busy schedule but life be like that sometimes. Happy bday, love you many 💞

Wanted to show a side by side with her pic, she was okay with me posting it! Tried to have some fun with the layout, i think it became pretty cute.
I'm considering to open heashot commissions again, what do you guys think?

Sootberries 🍓
Motivated by all the adorable art pieces on here, I decided to try to draw something totally different. I honestly really really enjoyed it. I finished it way quicker than usual pieces and found it to be very relaxing 🥺 Maybe more like this coming? 👀
