I was bored and started spinning in my chair at my new day job, and the room started spinning, like I drank three cosmos, and it felt like the agony of mundane days was stalking me, and peace felt overwhelming, and every dark thought was waiting for me

the way we get stuck in the loop and patterns; empty dollhouses & vast labyrinths symbolize the mind so well, the tension and haunting of memories

I decided to extend this animation because the whole line from TEOTFW holds so much weight to feeling like we have fault in the things that happen to us

I also enjoy not having to finish my thoughts, which is why I now prefer visuals over writing? It speaks for itself

“It’s like describing a rabbit to someone who’s never seen one and asking them to draw it”

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie— the portrayal of trauma & exploring the loop and patterns we gain comfort from. I’m ambivalent between transforming & just being

perspective is essential, but storytelling is what captivates the audience— lolita altered my mind, the beautiful writing was a masked trap of manipulation and horror to prompt insight for the readers to think about humanity. I think about how my experiences and stories have been warped by other people and this is how create witness to my life

I’ve been talking to my friend about being in a pivotal point in life, determining what’s next. I think about the Matrix quote, “Because you didn’t come here to make the choice, you’ve already made it. You’re here to try to understand why you made it.” No rumination of the past, no worries for the future. Just experiencing what I was meant to.

sometimes I get stuck in a reality loop. thought patterns, distortions, liminal corners.
