Welcome the newest member of Lateral Move! @christineangelique_ is a multi–talented person who will be acting and has written a hilarious sketch about a game of charades gone awry that will be in our next show on June 27 at @brooklynimprov at 6:30 PM. Tickets will be up soon! We are ecstatic you are a part of our team! Christine Angelique is an actor, video editor, filmmaker and singer who’s made her way to New York after pursuing her creative endeavors in Los Angeles and Austin. She has a BA in Radio, Television and Film from the University of North Texas and has studied acting and improvisation at The Groundlings, The Second City NYC, The Hideout Theatre, and Berg Studios. While in school she made “Fostered,” a short film that screened at 10 film festivals across North America and received the award for Best College Short Runner-Up at the Denton Black Film Festival. As of 2025, she has become a SAG-AFTRA member from her success in commercial acting, working with brands like Chevrolet and Toyota. She performed as a voice-over actor in “Red For Revolution”, a two-time Ambies award-winning and two-time Webby award-nominated audio fiction podcast that also won the Tribeca Independent Fiction Audio Storytelling Award. Falling back in love with theatre, Christine made her stage play debut as Marianne in City Theatre Austin’s production of Tartuffe, and was nominated for the Broadway World Austin’s Best Supporting Performer award. Though film and screen-acting will always be a passion of hers, Christine looks forward to pursuing more live-performance theatre in New York and is excited to join Lateral Move as she gives sketch comedy a try! by @lateralmovecomedy
