I miss my cat 🥺
love you forever 🕊️ by @laters.lems

In preparation for our baby company’s first Edinburgh, we announced some of our in house show posters today!
.
Collaborating with my wonderful friend, business partner and who I want to be when I grow up @aylacomedy
.
You can grab tickets via the link @bigvalueshowcase bio or through the Linktree in the production company’s bio @standingonproductions
.
Or through the Edinburgh fringe page or just the tonic website. Basically if you don’t buy a ticket when you in Edinburgh you are actively avoiding the show. I don’t make the rules. by @laters.lems

Inspired by worms? by @laters.lems

Fell out of love with creating.
In wanting to make money, I grew distant from ideas, numb to inspiration.

In fear of not doing enough, I ended up doing nothing at all.

Empty sketchbook pages, scanning online for some type of wonder.

Fell out of love with creating, trying to make money off products my mind could not visualise.

Through consuming so much creation, I stopped creating completely. by @laters.lems

I wrote a second zine! The first one is on my website, but I’ve never posted about it, so no one knows it exists. I should definitely post about it. It’s about depression, and it felt hard to post about joyfully, so I didn’t. I wrote it, it’s been live for a year, but last year was a weird year.

Anyway, 2026 is another year, and I’ve written some more poetry, so I put it together into a little poetry zine.

The zine is called Show Me Your Teeth, and it’s full of abstract, absurd poetry inspired by teeth, which I just couldn’t stop writing about at the time! Strange! Ta-dah!

It’ll be live on my website soon 🤞🏻 Here’s the cover art and back page illustration for now. by @laters.lems

What is left inside that bra of yours in which you have never let me see?
Too afraid.
Too stubborn.
Too careful.
Waiting for the perfect time. Waiting never comes the day.
A secret to the grave.
Bury me.
Unearth me.
Pile the dirt up higher amongst the treetops now that is where you’ll find me by @laters.lems

What should I be doing?
Time has a way of knowing, slipping by faster than I can keep up.
Breathless again, scared I’ll forget.
Holding onto memories in sadness,
finding comfort in my own dread.

I haven’t done much lately.
Time passes while I stare at the walls.
Even if I tried, I’m not sure I could move.
Frozen in time, a memory: nothing new, nothing present, nothing to become. by @laters.lems

Are Mondays thoughts, Tuesdays feelings? by @laters.lems

Maybe a year ago, I decided to alter my name artistically. Not drastically, only to formalise what already felt quietly mine. Rearranging the letters spelt Lems, and that felt right. As though it had been waiting for me all along.

I didn’t pluck the name from thin air; it was my mother’s maiden name. I often wondered why she never kept it for herself. Something inherited, never fully kept.

Recently, I was given my granny’s sewing box, and as I opened it for the first time, a piece of fabric fell gently to the floor. A small remnant of a life once lived , a thread carried forward through generations. Letters and memories pass quietly onto another timeline of life . by @laters.lems
