Lanserhof Sylt is one of the best and most luxurious medical spa in the world and the best hotel in Germany.

Surrounded by the unique and ever-present nature of Sylt, “the Hamptons of Germany”, the new health resort combines cutting-edge medicine with a stunning 100m resort.

At the heart of a stay for the majority of guests is the Mayr Cure, a simple process of purging one’s guts of toxins, acidity and bad bacteria through fasting, invented by the Austrian physician Franz X Mayr in 1915. Guests follow the mainly plant-based, alkalising Lanserhof Energy Cuisine diet, taking Epsom salts to clear out the digestive system; and alkaline powder to neutralise acids. Beyond that, the programme – how radical the diet, what treatments to follow – is decided by the doctor.

You will undergo urine and metabolism analysis, bioimpedance and blood pressure measurements, food intolerance testing, and blood tests for female hormones, thyroid and liver strain. You will be checked for unhealthy cholesterol, liver strain and tumour growth, as well as inflammation markers and the prospect of long-term diabetes. You will see a naturopath, a nutritionist, a personal trainer, a dermatologist, you will have lymph-drainage massage, hypnotherapy, and much more.

Contact us if you desire to value to experience an impeccable detox in this charming island off the northern coast of Germany. We highly recommend it and you know that we are very keen on spa destinations.

After considering several Tokyo hotels, we ultimately chose Four Seasons at Otemachi for its stunning skyline views and park views rooms, top notch service, outstanding facilities, unbeatable location on a metro route (The hotel sits right on top of Otemachi Station, so you literally don’t have to step outside to catch the subway or JR lines), proximity to the Imperial Palace and a calmer atmosphere at the end of the day as Otemachi is not a bustling tourist hub, which makes the hotel feel like a peaceful home base after busy days exploring Tokyo.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a work trip, or a family adventure, this is a property that feels both sophisticated and warm.

Rooms are wonderful! I would personally suggest the Premier Room. The premier room is corner side and it is one of the most impressive luxury hotel rooms in Tokyo without stepping up to a full suite category.
That said, even the Deluxe Room offers excellent value by Tokyo luxury hotel standards. Rooms are significantly larger than many competing hotels (start from 49mq!), and the combination of spacious accommodations, excellent dining, a superb spa, and panoramic city views helps justify the premium price point.
I am so impressed by the hotel’s indoor pool which feels more like a serene urban escape than a typical hotel amenity. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Tokyo skyline, making every swim feel like a moment to pause and take it all in.
Service is among the finest in Asia. Staff learn guest names within an hour of arrival. Bell staff have been known to offer the hotel car for a complimentary run to Tokyo Station when they overhear a guest is heading that way. Housekeeping folds clothes, presents toiletries on linen cloths, and leaves handwritten notes on windows.
I absolutely loved Bar Virtù, the hotel’s award-winning cocktail bar with a chic lounge vibe and stunning skyline views. We had dinner here one night and everything was fantastic - from the drinks to the food. The menu is a creative blend of French and Japanese influences.

Once a Convent, the 1,000-Year-Old Castel Badia in the Dolomites Finds New Life as a Luxury resort, meticulously restored by Egnazia Hospitality.

I am honored to experience it with my family. This stunning and intimate fairytale property offers 28 rooms and suites plus one chalet, historic parlours, a bar, a spa with external and internal swimming pools and several culinary formats. It marries perfectly contemporary decadence with monastic elements. The mood stays calm and cosy luxurious rather than ceremonial.

Layouts vary from room to room, and almost nothing feels standardised. Categories range from Bella and Splendida to larger suites such as Stupenda, Magnifica and the duplex Meravigliosa; there is also the 167-square-metre chalet in the former convent bakery.

Walk-in showers, generous bathtubs with mountain views, tea and coffee set-ups, soft textiles and plenty of wood create comfort without flattening the place. The rooms feel lovely, warm, private and carefully judged.

Everything looks wonderfully romantic, with low lighting, candle-lit spaces and plenty of secluded alcoves to hide away. I am impressed with how the smallest of design details had been carefully considered.

Kronplatz, Brunico and the cultural sites of the Puster Valley are close at hand, making the house compelling in every season.

For true ski bunnies, Castel Badia has prime access to the Dolomiti Superski area, the largest ski circuit in the world, connecting 1,200 kilometres of manicured pistes. The property offers tailored skiing packages as part of a wealth of experiences around the seasons, from bread making with local farmers to balloon rides.

In summer hiking, cycling and golf shape the natural radius. Guests also receive a public transport pass, bicycles and, from April to October, complimentary green fees at Pustertal Golf Club.

If you are looking for a wonderful upmarket Italian secluded hotel with a great restaurant and stunning views, we suggest to experience the Therasia resort on Vulcano Island in the Aeolian Islands. You know that we love romantic places and Therasia Resort is absolutely extremely special!

On a clear day, you can see all seven of the other Aeolian islands from the terrace. Guess the magic of its sunsets!

The Therasia takes food seriously; everything – from the breakfast pastries to ewe’s milk ricotta – served at the resort’s three restaurants and bar is made from scratch. It is all overseen by chef Crescenzo Scotti, master of the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Il Cappero, which focuses on dishes rooted in Sicilian tradition. L’Archipelago serves up fresh seafood and pastas on a romantic outdoor terrace.

The coastline is extremely rocky and the water is crystal clear, so water sports are a given, and one of the hotel’s boats can be taken to explore neighbouring islands.

Guests have access to a private beach, complete with umbrellas, drinks and pool boys, less than five minutes away and the black sands of nearby Sabbie Nere are worth a look.

The treatments at the resort’s wellness spa pay tribute to the island’s geography, with black-sand body scrubs and facials, as well as seaweed therapy.

We suggest to try also the Fanghi di Vulcano, the island’s most famous and smelliest attraction! It is a lot of fun! You can spend hours lounging in warm slimy mud before taking a dip in the ocean, where fumaroles bubble from beneath (be warned – the smell can linger on your skin for days!). Kindly note that the Therasia is located on the other, less pungent side of the island, in Vulcanello.

Last but not least, there’s a helipad next to the resort for those who wish to arrive in style.

Reservations made with love ♥️

Villa San Michele, A Belmond Hotel has reopened at end of April following a meticulous 18-month renovation and we are happy to reveal the 39 completely redesigned suites and rooms exuding indulgence and grandeur. Belmond has restored the existing structure with the locally based Luigi Fragola Architects, whose immaculate taste and sensitivity to the storied history of the building are visible in every corner. The result is extraordinary!

As luxury travel designer, I have experienced some of the most exclusive resorts in the world but Belmond Villa San Michele remains for me one of our favorite places at all.
truly magical! Guests can embark on a journey that weaves together food, art, history, architecture and nature in a truly idylliac setting.
It is hard to explain the beauty of its Michelangelo-inspired façade, arched terraces overlooking Florence, and its original chapel, frescoes, loggias, cloister and meticulously maintained terraced gardens.

The gastronomic restaurant, led by executive chef Alessandro Cozzolino takes guests on a voyage of discovery through authentic flavours enjoyed over an inimitable view of Florence. Dining here is where fine-dining becomes art and it is one of the most romantic experiences ever.

The restoration of Villa San Michele joins the ranks of recent Belmond portfolio enhancements, including Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, Portofino and Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya, each deeply embedded within their unique cultural landscape.

What about planning to reserve it? We offer extra benefits at the best rates and reservations made by heart!

Are you dreaming of a restored fisherman house in Greece like we are? Terra Mare Suites offer a unique experience of accommodation in Milos, one of our favorite Greek Islands.

You are literally on the water. No dramatic cliff. No trek to the beach. Just open the patio doors and step straight into the Aegean. If you’re after something romantic, quiet, and actually oceanfront – this spot delivers.

Designed to match the peace with the ultimate charming experience, Terra Mare Suites are located in the edge of a rock and have the endless blue in the background a magical audiovisual image is created.

The lovely suites are located in a “Syrma”. “Syrmata” were a residence of fishermen and also a shelter to protect their boats from bad weather. There are two options when booking – either the top or bottom suite. The design had that same charming fisherman’s house feel you find but it is updated in a way that felt modern and totally our style.

Terra Mare is located in a quiet cove area called Mytakas on the northern coast of Milos. It’s a quiet, low-key spot tucked between Sarakiniko and Pollonia, away from the busier fishing villages that tend to fill up with tourists by mid-morning. The location is private and low-key without being remote! You’re still only 10-15 minutes from all the main spots like Mandrakia, Plaka, Klima, and Sarakiniko.

The occasional sound of waves rolling onto the rocks is for me actual perfection.

If you are looking for something different on the island of Milos, contact us. We can also combine Terra mare with a luxury hotel in Milos to experience both worlds ♥️

The stunning hotel San Corrado di Noto welcomes guests to enjoy an outstanding summer retreat amidst the luxuriant natural beauty of the Val di Noto and just a few kilometers from the sea.

This masseria once belonging to Prince Nicolaci, it is now an idyllic, environmentally conscious resort. Olive, orange and almond trees create a timeless fresco that instantly inspires a sense of well-being, while the architectural style of the hotel is a celebration of Sicilian tradition — a decor masterfully sculpted by local woodworkers, exteriors paved with Modica stone and the green Guatemalan marble of the many sublime pools. Moreover, just a few kilometres away, the hotel’s Beach Club is the ideal place to relax, offering a breathtaking view of one of the most beautiful panoramas to be had of the Italian coastline.

Peace, quiet and intimacy are the keynotes in the collection of 26 meticulously designed suites and 8 villas, delivering enchanting sensations of well-being and peace. At the same time, the relaxing, upscale ambience brings out the colours of Sicilian tradition as well as offering the most modern, state-of-the-art facilities. We are totally in love with their philosophy, style, service and destination!

Its three restaurants are outstanding. The voyage one embarks on in its gourmetrestaurant Principe di Belludia, is a genuine declaration of love for Sicily, expressed in exciting little explosions of flavors that lead the palate on an almost dizzying itinerary, one minute rustic, then fish-based, then pastoral. We invite you to the Mount Olympus of cooking with its chef Martin Lazarov whose culinary art isexpression of the age-old oral tradition, intensified by his quest for the avant-garde and the original.

A free shuttle whisks guests from the lush countryside to the beach club, where the soft white sand meets the crystalline waters of the gulf, one of the most charming stretches of coast in Italy.
