We’re SO excited to announce Jessie as our new performance coach at LB Coaching. Meet Jessie! 🎉

Jessie transitioned to triathlon after falling out of love with netball, a sport she’d played to a high level since childhood. Looking for a fresh challenge (and something to tick off the bucket list), she set her sights on an Ironman.

Back in 2022, Jessie was a non-swimmer, so the goal felt a long way off. But undeterred, she taught herself to swim, bought a bike, and started running beyond the netball court. That same year, she completed her first triathlon, Ironman Bolton, where she won her age group and qualified for Kona. What started as a one-time goal quickly turned into a real passion for the sport.

Alongside triathlon, Jessie serves as an officer in the Royal Navy and practises as an international and criminal barrister. Training provides a welcome switch-off from a demanding role, and coaching brings her a huge amount of fulfilment.

Having taught herself the sport from scratch and gone on to become a multiple age-group winner, Jessie is passionate about helping others achieve goals they once thought were impossible.

We know Jessie is going to be an amazing addition to the coaching team and we're so excited to have her as part of LB Coaching. What's even more exciting is we now have the capacity to welcome more athletes into our community. Welcome to LB Coaching 🩵 Tenacity. Performance. Fulfilment. by @laurabardsley

I am so excited to announce Team LB's collaboration with Emily Jevons Nutrition. Emily is an absolute fountain of knowledge when it comes to performance nutrition.

Emily's experience stretches from working with one of the World Tour cycling teams, working with the eating disorder charity BEAT, working 121 with endurance athletes and working with top nutrition brands such as SIS and PhD nutrition, just to highlight some of her experience.

Being an athlete herself, she understands the struggles athletes face with nutrition, and she can offer realistic and practical advice to these issues.

Nutriton is undoubtedly the 4th discipline in triathlon, and so often it is overlooked, which often leads to frustration in both training and racing. Nutrition knowledge is absolutely essential for anyone who is training hard, racing and performing at a high level, and that's why we have brought Emily in, so she can educate our athletes so they can make informed decisions, plan well and feel confident when it comes to fuelling. @emilyjevonsnutrition by @laurabardsley
