LCF was proud to join Representative Gina H. Curry’s 5th Annual InspiHER’d event! 🥳💜
In recognition of Suicide Prevention Month, we encouraged young people to name their strengths and identify someone they can turn to for support.

A beautiful reminder that mental wellness begins with connection, confidence, and knowing you are never alone. 💚🚀

Good morning, LCF family! 🍂💚 Our September newsletter is here. Swipe through for health education, community highlights, helpful resources, and a look at what is ahead for LCF. ✨ #LCFInAction #Delco #Philly #HealthEducation #EDU18 💚🚀✨ by @lauraschildrenfdn

Supporting healthier families goes beyond the classroom! 💚

During each HHI Wellness Series session, we distributed three grocery bags filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, and snacks. Each bag provided approximately 10 servings of fresh produce, enough to help supplement a meal and provide snacks for a household of five to seven people.

That is approximately 30 servings of fresh food shared with families during each session.🥳

We also gave glass food storage containers to three participants to help reduce their reliance on plastic containers. We are reducing exposure to microplastics, one container at a time.🌱

Thank you, GIANT, for your generous in kind support and for helping us increase access to fresh, nutritious food in our community. 🍎🍇🥑🍌🥔 @giant

And @jeffersonhealthplans for facilitating the space!🚀🙏🏾

Small choices add up. Drink more water, take a walk, or add something healthy to your plate today. One choice can make a difference. 💚

One of LCF’s favorite things to do is pour into the next generation. 💚🩺

Through our nursing initiative, we share our own journeys, introduce students to different pathways into nursing and higher education, and remind them that there is more than one road to reaching their goals.

Empowering our youth one conversation at a time. ✨ #delco #philly #edu18 by @lauraschildrenfdn
