6 years ago today, we lost the most precious person in our lives 🤍🪽

Sure, she’s probably up there shaking her head at the carry-on down here, wondering how we’ve managed 6 whole years without her telling us what to do 🤔

I honestly don’t know how we’ve managed because, quite frankly, life has been a bit of a shit show at times and we could really have done with Mum 🤷‍♀️

This month has been especially hard, probably the hardest yet, as we’ve needed her more than ever with everything that’s been going on. There have been so many moments where we’ve wished we could pick up the phone, ask her advice or just have her here to give us a hug and tell us everything will be okay 🥹

Although, knowing Mum, she’d probably tell us to “cop on”, followed by “ah sure, it’s grand”… even when it absolutely bloody wasn’t. Somehow, she’d always make everything feel a little more okay ☘️

Life without your mum is never easy, no matter how old you are. You never stop needing her, and I think that’s something you only truly understand when she’s no longer here. But we’re so lucky to have each other @kimberley.valentina , even if we drive each other mad as we can’t agree to disagree if our lives depended on it… something Mum would have a lot to say about it 😂

My niece has started asking lots of questions about Mum, which makes me so happy knowing she remembers her, loves her and is growing up knowing who she was. So many people still talk about our mum and tell us how much they miss her, which just goes to show the incredible person she was and the impact she had on so many lives ❤️

6 years gone, but never forgotten. Forever loved, forever missed! 🕊️🤍

Life is short…Hug your people, tell them you love them, make the memories, take the pictures and have the laughs. Don’t waste time as it’s something you can’t buy more of or get back⏳

And if you’re lucky enough to still have your mum, give her a big hug, tell her you love her and apologise for being a little shit. Because one day, you’d give absolutely anything to hear her nagging you just one more time 🫶
