H&IS CURATES | 9 of Scotland’s best galleries and art stores 🎨 We have compiled a list of some of Scotland’s finest galleries and art shops, from inner city studios to craft stores based in the Highlands. These businesses were selected because of their commitment to platforming some of Scotland’s most talented artists and championing traditional crafting practices. We’ve also included an artist spotlight, too, as a wee bonus. The link is in our bio 🔗 Photography | Credited in web article Featured | @thefoundgallery @perthshiregallery @laurawildergallery @thetorrancegallery @themiltonartgallery @whitehousegalleryscotland @edinburghartshop @alison.kinnaird.glass.harp Artist spotlight: @golf_portraiture_scotland Ad | This post contains sponsored content by @laurawildergallery

Even as the leaves fall, things are still blooming in our window display. We have received so many lovely comments on Charmaine’s piece, ‘First Light’, that we knew it needed some window time. It is currently nestled perfectly next to Cressa’s floral glass work, where its delicate pink tones are beautifully complemented by the vibrant pop of pink in Elisabeth Grant’s ‘Thirsty for More’ piece. Set just beneath it are Rowan Ormiston’s piece ‘Selkie Sitting’ and Joe O’Brien’s sandstone sculpture, ‘Disappearing messages’. We are also home to another wonderful piece by Charmaine titled ‘Flower Dance’. Feel free to pop by and browse our collection. We are open Wednesday to Monday, 11-5pm. #artgallery #glasgowartgallery #supportlocalartists #westendglasgow #scottishartist ‘First Light’ by Charmaine Boyle Oil on canvas Canvas size 76x76cm Framed size 79x79cm ‘White Daisy’ and ‘Tree Blossom Flower’ by Cressa McLaren Both fusing kiln formed Bullseye glass 60x60cm and 26x26cm ‘Flower Dance’ By Charmaine Boyle Oil on canvas Unframed 61x50cm by @laurawildergallery
