The title says THE WORST. The record says otherwise. The run up tells you why. In February he co-produced and featured on Aura Salad with Mavo: over 36M Spotify streams worldwide today and No. 2 on Nigeria’s Top Songs chart, with Hey Mama alongside it on Breaking. The year before, Ya Strata showed he could carry a song on his own. The debut puts it all together: his own beats on half the tracks, a Headies nominee on the feature, and a Presido hook that TikTok found before release day. He is up now, and next year looks like his. THE WORST is out now. Which track is the one, and which of his older songs got you first? TikTok clips on Presido: his own, sparkoo_baddo, mk_ochacho, gentleinvestor97. @sssoundgawd @jeriqthehussla @kilogbederecords @osberttookthis @seventhgraceprod @dkabirwa #sssoundgawd #theworst #aurasalad #newmusic #laurbanculture by @laurbanculture
A Milan teenager in the 80s could name every piece of his winter outfit, brand by brand. Almost every trend here started as kit for something else. Leg warmers kept dancers warm in rehearsal, sheepskin boots warmed surfers coming out of the sea, the shearling aviator was cut for pilots in freezing cockpits, and the balaclava takes its name from a battle in 1854. Then the street got hold of them, and the right one turned into a badge. By 2019 a school on the Wirral was banning the most expensive coats so no pupil felt left out. What was the coat everyone at your school had to have? @moncler @poloralphlauren @ugg @burberry @canadagoose @miumiu @wutangclan #winterfashion #wintertrends #fashionhistory #stylefile #laurbanculture by @laurbanculture

Ten shows, four scores each, and now the final say is yours. From the Great Wall of China to a London bus depot, each one was judged on its venue, its clothes, its legacy and how it landed, then and now. Not everyone will agree with the order. DAVII SS27: Hyperborea, in black and white. Milan Fashion Week, and DAVII, the Brazilian designer Davi working from his atelier in Porto, brought Hyperborea to the Lineapelle Designers Edition runway. A collection named after a legendary land from Greek mythology, designed entirely in black and white so the surfaces, the construction and the volumes lead. Sheer, fluid fabrics and silk, leather details, and a handcrafted fabric of small black cords. Handmade in Portugal. Sound on, swipe. Shot for UC by The Golden Agency. Clara Chu returns to London Fashion Week with StacCo, a collection about how we collect. Do your tote bags live under your sink? StacCo choreographs how objects exist in relationship to each other for wellbeing: pieces loop, flex and fasten, and elasticity works as both material and metaphor. 5000 SS27: no runway. Taylor Thompson didn't send the collection down a catwalk. He put it inside Devon Turnbull's "Dream No.1" listening room at 180 Studios, sixteen looks standing still among handmade speakers, turned down low. "The immediate definition of home." Sound on, swipe. Shot for UC by The Golden Agency. “Fashion, unique and pioneer.” Three questions outside the PERSONSOUL pop-up on D’Arblay Street: the look in three words, the most spent on one item (a full fit, about four thousand in Chinese currency), and the trend she loves or can’t stand. Her answer: fashion has no definition. Whatever suits you is fashion. Filmed for UC at 19 D’Arblay Street, Soho. Know her? “You’re not going to find this anywhere else in London.” PERSONSOUL has one permanent store, in Guangzhou, and 611K followers. This week it had a white room on D’Arblay Street. UC sat down with the team inside their first pop-up: Chinese cultural heritage, yin and yang, the mass-production myth, and the designer, answering in Mandarin. Filmed for UC at 19 D’Arblay Street, Soho, 16–23 September.
