A foggy morning on the Grand Canal, just a few steps from Rialto Bridge. Birds flying over the water and Venice slowly waking up.

A surprise gondola proposal in Dorsoduro.
She had no idea.🍾💍
Granit contacted me weeks before their trip. He wanted to propose to Ida on a gondola in the quietest part of Venice. I booked the gondola, briefed the gondolier, and positioned myself on a bridge over the Rio de San Trovaso before they even arrived.

At 9:30 on an April morning, Venice belongs to you. The canals are empty. The light is soft. Nobody is watching.
He reached for the ring. She covered her face. She cried. She laughed. She said yes.

30 minutes on the water. Photos and video captured simultaneously. Gallery delivered in 5 days.

Piazzetta San Marco in the Mist✨️

This is the Venice most people never see.
At Piazzetta San Marco, with the Doge’s Palace on one side, the two columns ahead, and the Grand Canal opening into the mist, Venice becomes grand and quiet at the same time.

For a honeymoon session, this balance is everything. You have the iconic setting, but you also have space, calm, and light that feels soft instead of busy.
As a Venice Photographer, this is one of my favorite places to photograph couples when the city is still half asleep.
There is something very different about standing here in March at 6:30 AM. The atmosphere is lighter, the movement is slower, and the place feels less like a landmark and more like a shared experience.
That is what I look for in Photoshoot sessions: beauty that does not feel forced. The city becomes more emotional when it is seen this way.

Save this if you want your Venice photos to feel iconic but still deeply personal.

Venice at sunrise, where the mist meets the golden light over Santa Maria della Salute.

Katie and Kenny’s engagement photoshoot in Venice took us from San Marco to Castello.

I photographed them on the Ponte dei Conzafelzi, where the canals meet at Palazzo Tetta, then beside the marble walls of Santa Maria dei Miracoli.

What I love about this walk is how quickly the view changes: the canals meet at Palazzo Tetta, and a few minutes later you’re standing beside the marble walls of the church.

I photographed these moments before a symbolic wedding in Venice. I particularly enjoy this part of the day, when everything is coming together and the ceremony is about to begin.

Venice from above.

A view from St. Mark’s Campanile, looking towards San Giorgio Maggiore, with the fog covering St. Mark’s Square and the lagoon.

These are the best moments I love photographing.

An evening on the Grand Canal in Venice.

I’ve lived here for over 17 years, and I still enjoy watching the gondolas, the boats passing by and the city slowly getting quieter.

Sometimes I take photos for work. Sometimes I just film what I see on my way home.

A little glimpse of my everyday life in Venice.

Erin and Spiro’s symbolic wedding at Aman Venice.

An intimate ceremony beneath the frescoed ceilings of a Venetian palace, followed by a water taxi along the Grand Canal and portraits around San Marco.
