S Ó M A ✨ soph_soma This branding is everything 😍 Custom-made lettering, combined with this deep walnut & creamy ecru colour palette, give this branding the perfect dreamy, natural vibes. With this brand deep rooted in nature & holistic therapies, the background imagery shows the most beautiful natural macro-detail of a healing adaptogenic mushroom ✨ . . . #logodesign #logo #luxurylogo #design #logodesigner #graphicdesigner #beautylogo #logos #hairlogo #personalised #aestheticslogo #brandingdesign #spmulogo #beautybranding #businesslogo #logoinspiration #logodesigns #makeuplogo #logoinspirations by @laurendonnellydesign
MEET LAUREN 👋 Yep, still talking about myself in the third person - but let’s be honest, Instagram is a weird little world, so why not just roll with it 😂 It’s been *way* too long since I last introduced myself (like... 2022?!), and a lot has changed since then. So here’s a big overdue “hello” to new followers, old friends, clients-turned-friends, and anyone who just likes a bit of branding and baby content sprinkled with real-life chaos. So! Hi, I’m Lauren - designer, branding specialist, girl mom, and the one-woman band behind ‘Lauren Donnelly Design & Branding Specialists’ 🎨✨ I launched the business back in 2016 and have worked with almost *800 amazing clients* since (WHAT?!). I specialise in luxe, modern branding for small businesses - think neutrals, clean lines, and serious attention to detail. These days, I’m spinning a few extra plates - and loving every slightly sleep-deprived minute. Some recent life updates: - In October 2024, I had my beautiful baby girl, Arabella, and life now revolves around cuddles, snacks, naps (hers, not mine), and trying to remember what day it is 🍼💕 - I live in Cheshire with said baby and my lovely partner, who’s an Associate Director Building Consultant 📐 – I also work part-time at Alder Hey Children’s Charity in Ops & HR and genuinely, I love it. The work, the team, the mission... I feel lucky every day to be part of it ❤️ Right now, I’m slowly transitioning back into design work after maternity leave and taking on one client at a time. If you’re dreaming of a branding refresh, I’d love to hear from you! Just email me or fill out my design questionnaire (link in bio). No DMs please - my inbox is slightly more organised than my nappy bag. Anyway, that’s me! Still designing, still detail-obsessed, still so grateful you’re here. Lauren x by @laurendonnellydesign
Dreaming Big for my Clients 💫 by @laurendonnellydesign
What a gorgeous October we’ve had 🥰🎃✨ by @laurendonnellydesign
Grateful? God yes. Luck? Hmm, more like hard work. 👌 TEN WHOLE YEARS IN BUSINESS. And a DECADE of showing up, building, creating, learning, evolving and refusing to stand still. 10 years of graft. Constantly trying to stand out from the crowd, do something different, research the next big thing, wear a million hats and put out fires left, right and centre. All while leaving a trail of happy clients and beautiful brands in my wake! And let’s be real, staying in business for 10 years is one thing. Staying relevant, inspired, in demand and still absolutely loving what you do after all that time? That’s something I’m bloody proud of. I KNOW I’m incredibly lucky to have been booked and busy for an entire decade, and I’ll never take that for granted. But I also can’t pretend I haven’t worked my *rse off to make it happen and keep that spark alive! 10 years in, and I’m nowhere near done. 🤍 by @laurendonnellydesign
Dream branding isn’t an accident. Well, not when I’m involved 😏 A logo’s function is to identify your business. To make it recognisable. But the branding… that’s what gives it meaning. It’s the vibe of your business. What your customers feel when they scroll through your socials, visit your website or walk through your door. All without you having to say a word. 👌 That’s where I come in. Honestly, the vibe is what I get a feel for first. The mile-long brand discovery emails I send? They’re all for a reason. Getting to know you, your business and the customers you want to attract. It’s how I get a proper feel for what you’re about, and then I turn THAT into your branding. ✨ Jo Malone? Hermes? Cartier? Which brand would you recognise without the logo? 👀 — I’m now booking for late November/early December. Get in touch to secure your slot and let’s create your dream branding! Loved all three concepts we put together for Medtime Pharmacy, so couldn't not share them all! 💙 Standing out in a saturated market starts with strong, recognisable branding. For Medtime, it was about giving an age-old concept a modern identity, without losing the trust and professionalism you'd expect from a pharmacy. Three different directions, each with its own take on the brief. Think we nailed them all...! 🤩👌🏼 Spotted the other concepts shared for this brand? Which is your favourite? #BrandIdentity #LogoDesign #PharmacyBranding #BrandDesigner #VisualIdentity by @laurendonnellydesign
This is what an unused concept looks like when the design process is done properly 🤷‍♀️👌 Attention to detail is something I've always taken very seriously. Long before the first logo concept is presented, there's research, detailed communication, moodboards and a LOT of time spent understanding the client's vision. Understanding a brand properly means looking beyond what a client likes aesthetically. It's about knowing their business, their audience and how they want to show up to their dream customers. Every single concept is developed with the same level of consideration, whether it's selected or not. No rushed ideas, no variations presented simply to make up the numbers! And when the concepts that don't make the final cut look like this, I might be biased, but I think the work speaks for itself… 😍 #LuxuryBranding #AestheticsBranding #BrandIdentity #BespokeBranding BrandDesignerUK by @laurendonnellydesign
Modern, architectural and sleek. 👌🏼 Exactly what I had in mind when designing the branding and accompanying materials for SCALEit Property Group a couple of years back. From the logo and visual identity to the headed paper, leaflets and stationery, every element was designed to feel consistent, professional and considered. When even the smallest details of your branding have this much thought behind them, it says a lot about the standards of your business. First impressions count, and good branding goes well beyond a logo. #PropertyBranding #BrandIdentity #GraphicDesignUK #PropertyBusiness #LogoDesign #BrandDesigner #CorporateBranding #StationeryDesign #VisualIdentity by @laurendonnellydesign
Minimal neutrals will forever be dreamy ☁️ A brand concept for Yasmin Fadhel Hair Studio, using statement typography, mirrored lettering and a soft, neutral palette. A distinctive logo doesn't need to be complicated. Sometimes it's the smaller details that make the biggest difference. #BrandIdentity #LogoDesign #HairSalonBranding #BrandDesigner #VisualIdentity by @laurendonnellydesign

Brand reveal for Refine & Define UK 🤎 @refineanddefineuk Muted deep browns, soft beige, bespoke typography and carefully edited imagery, all brought together to create a calm, refined identity for this new face & body contouring business. Lydia came to me wanting a brand that felt modern, warm and understated. After talking through her goals and aligning on the overall feel, I took the brief and developed a full identity that brings her vision to life in a clean, confident and cohesive way. I really enjoyed working on this one, there’s something so satisfying about when the visuals click into place and everything feels exactly right for the client. If you’re planning a rebrand or starting something new, my emails are always open. 🤎🤎🤎 by @laurendonnellydesign
