Me for @wsiairport !!✈️ 🫧

Truly a pinch me moment to see not just my dance, but so many areas that I’ve been and grew up in, now proudly shown at the new Western Sydney Airport.

I’m so thankful for @azzamxshazam for taking me on this project, even getting to do it alongside my girl @isonjai - truly a dream come true. It means so much to be able to represent my area as I am and have my reflections on screen. 🩷

Massive thank you to @studioesem for directing and creating this incredible piece amongst many others!

A reminder to all the artists out there that you are always where you are meant to be, and you’ll understand why when the time comes.

#creativity #lifeexperiences #artinfluences

Highkey biggest character arc of my life was working at @usfinatelier alongside the director @danieljianing - miss u king 😭

Only through experiencing life in a creative field outside of my own “niche” is what will shape and grow your main craft. V grateful to all the internal breakthroughs I had through working with a team that trusted me and believed in my creativity 🥲💕 keep transcending the norm!!

Also hello cutie models @mi.chelleha & Dae hehe

One of my fave haircuts was the sharp layered haircuts that @koji_shintome would do 🙂‍↕️

I actually think going to a dance came in Belgium last year in August is what got me drawing my poster (in the next slide).

I remember seeing these women in Europe with the most incredible sense of style. The way they dressed, the way they danced, the way they carried themselves… they had a whole aura that I wanted to capture in my art.

I’d like to say that the aura was captured 😼

Ugh these girls … <3 no words!!

It’s incredible how we’ve connected despite cultural & language barriers. Im grateful for every one of them - from working with them, being in their presence, taking inspiration from their fashion, taste and even work ethic. And of course, introducing me into Gyaru culture & fashion.

Through very subtle ways they’ve moulded me into becoming the person I am today.

I 🩷 USFIN GALS

the pink leopard print was everything for me at the time 🐆

Girlhood at its peak !!!

I think this influence is so obvious in my art - but if it werent for these small little moments, my art wouldn’t look the way that it does today. & I thank my awesome friends who create these memories with me.

So many influential women in my life, and I owe a lot to every single one of them. 🩷

Likeeee come awnn!!

This one reminds me of @isonjai and @jasha.jc

It actually took me a minute to clock this, but as I look back at my drawings Im so influenced by artists who doodle, or drawings that come from the youth. The freedom and imperfections that come from it by @lauriislaura

making art 🤝 breaking rules

last month i jumped straight into the deep end and went to guangzhou to learn all about garment production.

still learning so much on this journey but i love sharing + documenting what i can. this is such a big learning curve for me but im determined to get through it to produce clothes for the girls who need it most 🫡

still kinda processing the fact that my art is making its way to america 🫣

@saimarani1975 reached out to me a few months ago to commission a birthday project for herself - it meant a lot to me that she wanted my art & style to be her present to self 🥲🩷

initially the designs were just going to be sent electronically but as part of her gift i wanted to personally print and mail it to her, creating this video reflecting upon this experience. it was my first time drawing a person from Desi culture, and also detailed curls. thank you for all the trust, patience and love throughout this entire process, I’m so keen for it to reach your home!!🩷

im really glad that i had decided to start sharing my art and see how it has led me to reach amazing girls across the globe 🌍🫶🏻

currently open for commissions! - dm to enquire 🤞🏻
