Huntsman Cancer Institute did an article on Skyler‘s research and my cancer diagnosis. by @laurmossjohnson

I wanted to share an update, because if someone I cared about were going through this, I’d want to know. After a couple surgeries and hospital stays, I’m starting chemo today for several month for breast cancer, with every hope and expectation of a good outcome. This is my second time doing chemo, so it feels both familiar and still a little daunting.

I’m incredibly grateful for my husband, kids, family, and friends who continue to carry me, and for the amazing care and support at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

I’m very aware of how fortunate I am to be facing cancers that are highly curable. Our family has seen the other side of this, especially when we adopted Lucian after the deaths of his parents to pancreatic cancer and glioblastoma. Their stories stay with me.

I’m feeling positive, supported, and ready for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of my life. 💛 by @laurmossjohnson

Best vacay ever!! I haven’t stayed up passed midnight and cry-laughed in a long time. Very well needed time away! by @laurmossjohnson

A couple days ago we had a fun beach day. Another reason we will miss CT. by @laurmossjohnson

My heart is full 💙. Very proud of Sky and his hard work, which was celebrated tonight at his Residency Graduation. There have been countless early mornings, late nights and weekends that not many people see or can truly appreciate. He was fortunate to be a part of such an amazing group at Yale, surrounded by incredible, genuine, kind, insanely smart people, who became some of our closest friends. Words can't describe the impact they have had on us!!! A bittersweet ending to the beginning of our next big adventure. by @laurmossjohnson

In Central Park at one of my favorite areas and Weston has to always be the center of attention, per usual. Such a cute picture @kyliewhiting by @laurmossjohnson

My heart is full 💙. A better late than never announcement for those who haven’t heard. After so much hard work these past 10 years, early mornings, late nights and weekends, it has finally paid off. Sky got his first post training job at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah as an Assistant Professor splitting time between seeing patients and doing cancer research. We couldn’t be happier! Moving at the end of July. by @laurmossjohnson

Merry Christmas!! Photo by the talented @kyliewhiting and my bestie😘 by @laurmossjohnson

Siena has refused to wear a bigger coat the last month. It’s 36 degrees today so I decided today is the day I’m going to make her wear it. Finally 15 minutes later, tears, yelling...I got it on her! The first thing she says, “It’s soooo warm!” 🙄 #shelovesit by @laurmossjohnson
