Happy New Year! ๐Ÿฅ‚โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿพ First post of 2026 features something from home. A breathtaking place known as GENEO MALL. Although technically it isn't a shopping mall. This new retail and dining lifestyle hub (an extension from the Science Park precinct) is the latest pet-friendly hotspot, boasting stunning atrium architecture that has 27 metre tall timber arches that resemble a grand cathedral. Combined with lush greenery, the atrium is nice and cool even on a hot and humid day. ๐Ÿš‰ Geneo Mall has direct sheltered access to Kent Ridge MRT. ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ #geneomallsingapore #architecture #singaporeplaces #singaporephotography #exploresingapore Singapore | Geneo Mall | Science Park Singapore | Discover Singapore | Visit Singapore | Explore Singapore | Architecture by @lavenderose.pixframes

Looking for unique and aesthetic Korean desserts in Jeju? Head to Cheong Su Dang ๆธ…ๆฐดๅ ‚. This building used to house A Twosome Place Cafรฉ. Cheong Su Dang has an outlet in Ikseon-dong in Seoul and have added another along Aewol Cafรฉ Street in Jeju. Designed with a sleek hanok-style ambience for you to relax in. I made a beeline for their Udo Peanut Fromage Cake (์šฐ๋„ ๋•…์ฝฉ ํ”„๋กœ๋งˆ์ฃผ ์ผ€์ดํฌ), which is a regional specialty exclusive to the Jeju location. It costs โ‚ฉ15,800. Good for sharing as the portion is pretty big. The fromage cakes feature layered cream cheese and mascarpone, styled to look like natural Jeju volcanic terrain, densely topped with rich, nutty peanuts grown locally on Jeju's neighbouring Udo Island. They also had other flavours like Hallabong Orange and Matcha, both creatively made as well. I can't recall the exact prices of the berry soda and berry tea. Probably around โ‚ฉ7,000 each. ๐Ÿ“Cheong Su Dang Bakery Cafe ์ฒญ์ˆ˜๋‹น ์• ์›” (Their logo is using Chinese characters ๆธ…ๆฐดๅ ‚) 19 Aewol-ro 1-gil, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea ๐Ÿ•ฅ Operating hours: 10.30am - 9.00pm (Daily) ๐Ÿš™ Private car park within the building or you can park at the public car park (self-paying via machine) at the top of the slope and walk down. ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท #cheongsudang #aewolcafe #koreanaestheticcafe #์ œ์ฃผ๋„ #jejuisland Cheong Su Dang | ๆธ…ๆฐดๅ ‚๏ฝœAewol cafรฉ | Jeju cafรฉ | Korean aesthetic cafรฉs | Jeju summer | South Korea through my lens | Jeju through my lens | Jeju Island | ์ œ์ฃผ๋„ | Jeju-do | visit Jeju | discover Jeju | travel Jeju | travel korea | discover South Korea | explore South Korea | beautiful destinations | travel photography | travel journal | travel tips | travel diary | travel stories | travel content | snap with Canon | shot on Canon by @lavenderose.pixframes
Back to Aewol again because we wanted to eat authentic Jeju abalone porridge at this restaurant - Eunhye Jeonbok ์€ํ˜œ์ „๋ณต. Eunhye means 'blessings/grace' in Korean and Jeonbok means 'abalone'. Eunhye Jeonbok opened in October 2016 as a family restaurant focused on traditional home-made cooking. Established by a family rooted in the local seafood trade. The restaurant's philosophy is to serve its guests with the same care and sincerity as a family preparing a home-cooked meal. While located very near the touristy Aewol Cafรฉ Street, the establishment maintains a strong reputation for being a staple abalone speciality place where the locals gather to have their meals. And that is usually where you get the best food. What we ordered: Abalone porridge ร—2 - โ‚ฉ15,000 per bowl Grilled abalone - โ‚ฉ25,000 (6pcs) Grilled mackerel- ์„œ๋น„์Šค Complimentary with every order, along with free refills of their banchan. ๐Ÿ“์€ํ˜œ์ „๋ณต Eunhye Jeonbok 4-3, Aewol-ro 1-gil, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea ๐Ÿ•˜ Operating hours: 9.40am to 8.00pm (last order 7.00pm) They might close on certain days (not fixed) so best to check before you head down. ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท #eunhyejeonbok #์€ํ˜œ์ „๋ณต #jejuabalone #์ œ์ฃผ๋„ #jejuisland ์€ํ˜œ์ „๋ณต | eunhye jeonbok | jeju abalone restaurant | abalone porridge | Jeju food | South Korea through my lens | Jeju through my lens | Jeju Island | ์ œ์ฃผ๋„ | Jeju-do | visit Jeju | Jeju eats | discover Jeju | travel Jeju | travel korea | discover South Korea | explore South Korea | beautiful destinations | travel photography | travel journal | travel tips | travel diary | travel stories | travel content | snap with Canon | shot on Canon by @lavenderose.pixframes
Beautiful seascape found at Handam Beach (ํ•œ๋‹ดํ•ด๋ณ€) along the northern coast of Aewol. Famous for the volcanic coastline and a full view of the Hanlim Offshore Wind Farm. All 1๏ธโƒฃ8๏ธโƒฃ wind turbines captured in one frame in the opening shot. Are you able to count them all? I came across another old buoy recycled into a bin (๋‹ด๋ฐฐ๊ฝ์ดˆํ†ต) for disposing cigarettes, painted like a roly-poly shark with a gentle reminder '๋‹ด๋ฐฐ๊ฝ์ดˆ๋งŒ' - cigarette butts only. ๐ŸŽž Included are 2 video clips edited in slow-motion. Spot the black sea roach on the rock in the second clip! ๐Ÿชณ๐Ÿ˜ฌ You can't really swim at Handam as it's too rocky but I believe the view alone is already spectacular enough. This area is also part of the Handam Coastal Trail (Gwakgeum Olle Trail): A 1.2-kilometer paved walking path hugging the rugged volcanic shore. ๐Ÿ“Handam Beach ํ•œ๋‹ดํ•ด๋ณ€ Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท #aewol #์ œ์ฃผ๋„ #jejuisland #capturedwithcanon ##shotoncanon Aewol Jeju | Handam Beach | ํ•œ๋‹ดํ•ด๋ณ€ | volcanic coastline | South Korea through my lens | Jeju through my lens | Jeju Island | ์ œ์ฃผ๋„ | Jeju-do | visit Jeju | discover Jeju | travel Jeju | travel korea | discover South Korea | explore South Korea | beautiful destinations | travel photography | travel journal | travel tips | travel diary | travel stories | travel content | snap with Canon | shot on Canon by @lavenderose.pixframes

Grocery shopping at Lotte Hypermart in Jeju City. You'll never go hungry with the amount of ready to cook and pre-cooked meals available. Best place to buy all your favourite Korean snacks and coffee. You pay a fraction of the price compared to shops at tourist areas and even Duty Free. Swipe to the end to have an interesting look at what Korean bell peppers look like compared to the regular ones we always eat! ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท #lottehypermart #lottemartjeju #์ œ์ฃผ๋„ #jejuisland Lotte Hypermart Jeju | South Korea through my lens | Jeju through my lens | Jeju Island | ์ œ์ฃผ๋„ | Jeju-do | visit Jeju | discover Jeju | travel Jeju | travel korea | discover South Korea | explore South Korea | beautiful destinations | travel photography | travel journal | travel tips | travel diary | travel stories | travel content | snap with Canon | shot on Canon by @lavenderose.pixframes
Lazy rainy day activities in Jeju. When it rains the entire day and we couldn't have any outdoor fun. Where did we go? We drove to the city to first shop at Uniqlo (to get their Jeju exclusive tees) and then to Olive Young! ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ธ Lunch at fast food chain LOTTERIA for their Hanwoo Beef Burgers (โ‚ฉ10,5000 for the set meal) and after next door to ABOUT COFFEE for their cakes and lattes. I went for their unique flavour like Banana Vanilla Latte (โ‚ฉ5,900) and a slice of Hallasan Green Tea cake (โ‚ฉ4,900). Good coffee at reasonable prices. ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท #jejucafe #jejucity #lotteriajeju #์ œ์ฃผ๋„ #jejuisland Jeju Cafรฉ | About Coffee Jeju | Lotteria Jeju | South Korea through my lens | Jeju through my lens | Jeju Island | ์ œ์ฃผ๋„ | Jeju-do | visit Jeju | discover Jeju | travel Jeju | travel korea | discover South Korea | explore South Korea | beautiful destinations | travel photography | travel journal | travel tips | travel diary | travel stories | travel content | snap with Canon | shot on Canon by @lavenderose.pixframes

Gwideok-ri's love for their famous residents - the Haenyeos (female free-divers) and the cats that call this coastal village home. Combine them together and you have a Mercat!
