Could not be prouder🥹❤️

20 years ago, we watched Bobby’s “Theo Lolo” @lawrence.vourtzoumis shave his head at just 11 years old to raise money for breast cancer. That act of kindness is what snowballed into Pink in the City. @pinkinthecitycanada

Fast forward 20 years, and Bobby, also 11, attended his very first Pink in the City gala… and decided he wanted to follow in his uncle’s footsteps. 🥹

What happened next was beyond anything we could have imagined.

$7,000 raised in ONE night!!! 😭❤️

Watching him speak confidently on stage in front of a crowd of 800+… walk around the room collecting donations in his pink can, and then having his uncle start shaving his head… I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words how proud we are.

Thank you to every single person who cheered him on and donated. You made this moment so incredibly special.

And a special thank you to @leeonair for helping us pull off Bobby’s last minute idea, and making the surprise that much more exciting and unforgettable!! 🫶

A night our family will never, ever forget. ❤️

20 years of Pink in the City. But the story has always been about more than fundraising. It’s about the people, the purpose, and the community that makes it all possible.

I sat down with my mom to reflect on the journey and everything that brought us here. 💗

Join us this Friday, October 23, for our 20th Anniversary Gala, La Magie de l’Espoir.

Chicken thigh burgers. Homemade brioche buns. Hot honey mayo. Creamy coleslaw.

Because if I’m making a burger, I’m making the bun too.

Sometimes you just have to take the first step.

What started with trying something I loved eventually became my career as an entrepreneur.

A croissant takes 3 days to make. Becoming a pastry chef took a little longer.

If there’s something you’ve been wanting to try, do it. You never know where that first step might lead.

I’ve been on my burrata game lately, trying out different combinations, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Here we have roasted butternut squash purée, creamy burrata, and crispy fried sage leaves in EVOO, finished with a drizzle of EVOO, salt & pepper. Served with grilled baguette, sea salt and olive oil for dipping.

The perfect cozy fall bite and even better enjoyed with family. 🍂🤎 #homecooking #montreal #foodofinstagram by @lawrence.vourtzoumis

On that runners high 🏃‍♂️ Some interior, vibes and things that have made me happy lately 🙃 by @lawrence.vourtzoumis

4 years ago, this guy helped make it all happen. After struggling alone for years, I found the courage to live my life authentically. It was the best damn thing I ever did, but it took time and Nick for me to truly realize that 💙

Be proud of who you are. Live life the way you want. Much love #happypride by @lawrence.vourtzoumis
