Here we go again ….
The alarm chirped at 5:15 a.m.

As I drove toward our sunrise portrait session, Lou Reed’s Perfect Day came on the radio. Somehow it felt exactly right.

This muse and educator is a performer, a comedian, a spiritual guide, and one of the most original thinkers I’ve met. His yoga instruction has improved my practice, his perspective has also helped me embrace this stage of life with a little more grace and a lot less resistance.

Every now and then you meet someone who refuses to fit into a 📦.

Yogi. Performer. Philosopher. Wildly original thinker.

Over the past few months, this remarkable human has helped me deepen my yoga practice while also embrace that aging isn’t something to fight—it’s something to understand and accept.

After a long campaign of persuasion, I finally got him in front of my camera. We slipped away to the magnificent lookout near our morning class, chased the early light, and had absolute good vibes!

“Yoga Ballet, MEOW!”

There are projects that feel like work—and then there are the ones that feel like coming home. I have been working with the incredible @jewishcommunityfoundationoc for a couple of years now. I am so excited to get to collaborate with them on community projects and art that seems to be growing in my creative touch 📸. This specific project was ment for a different time and venue and as life happens for so many uncontrolled reasons… my heart filled with gratitude when the project came to the location of my new super inspiring role as an educator for innovation, creation and exploration at an incredible school @irvinehebrewday here in OC. Documenting and capturing what was transforming the facade of the school felt like an incredible juggling act full of light and excitement as I returned every couple of minutes to the imagination station that I was building for this brilliant community it all felt like magical layers igniting at the same time. This project reminded me how much I love working this way—close to the story, with passionate people.
Thank you @dedebandaid, @nitzan_mintz, @amhromadka and @jcfoc for bringing it to life.
Hoping for More work that feels endlessly magical.

This project brought together many things-that I care about—story, people, and community.
Shooting this street art collaboration reconnected me with people and creative energy from a past chapters of my life, but with a fresh perspective. Getting to witness, document and with a few last shots direct some energy…. Learning a new take on a love story I’ve known in a different form was something special.
There’s a unique intensity in creating with people you share chapters with—it pushes the work deeper and makes it more intertwined.
Appreciate the patience in sharing this one, and all the angles 🙏🏽.
Big thank you to @dedebandaid, @nitzan_mintz, and @jewishcommunityfoundationoc for creating 📸 @ihds.
Looking forward to continuing to create work that inspires me—and highlights the incredible people behind it.

Some projects stay with you long after the moment passes.
This one felt layered—like past and present overlapping through art, memory, and connection. Familiar faces from another time, coming together again, but changed… evolved. Watching that unfold, and hearing a new version of their love story, was powerful.
There’s something about creating alongside people who know a different version of you. It’s inspiring, a little intense, and completely grounding.
This project reminded me how much I love working this way—close to the story, close to the people.
Thank you @dedebandaid, @nitzan_mintz, for sharing this journey and @jcfoc for bringing this to life!! @ihds
I look forward to capturing more of this 🤍, please. More work that feels….

Finally sharing a few glimpses from the massive street-art collaboration I photographed with the Weissman Art Foundation here in OC.
Lucky to document 📸 Alex Golob’s incredible woven wooden mural, Shir Ha’Ma’lot — a piece texture, movement, and meaning.
