Le Clézio Gallery (Aranya Jinshanling) presents ‘not yet a meaning’, the inaugural duo exhibition by Eric Poitevin & Elsa Salonen, on view in Aranya JinshanLing until August 15. Through a restrained visual dialogue, Eric Poitevin and Elsa Salonen approach nature through contrasting yet complementary perspectives. Eric Poitevin’s photographs of plants reduce representation to its essential presence: isolated against a shadowless white ground and reproduced at life scale, each specimen appears suspended outside narrative, inviting a direct encounter with its material reality. Elsa Salonen, by contrast, transforms organic matter through processes inspired by alchemical traditions, extracting and preserving plant pigments as traces of vitality and change. Rooted in animist thought, her works reveal nature as a network of energies, memories, and transformations. Together, their practices shift attention away from interpretation and toward attentive perception, proposing a contemplative experience in which the visible world unfolds through presence, duration, and material becoming. __ #EricPoitevin @elsa.salonen #LeClezioGallery #LeClézioGalleryAranyaJinshanling #AranyaJinShanLing #aranya __ 📷 Aranya © Eric Poitevin / Elsa Salonen / Le Clézio Gallery by @le_clezio_gallery
© Dom Simon / Le Clezio Gallery by @le_clezio_gallery

ZOOM on Jack Dunnett Le Clézio Gallery (Aranya JinShanLing) presents ’The Living Still Life’, the first solo exhibition of Jack Dunnett in China, on view until November 15. Through domestic interiors and urban fringes set on small wooden panels, Jack Dunnett creates psychological explorations shaped by the tension between technical mastery and chemical accident. In scenes that are both intimately familiar and subtly unstable, he probes the dynamics of the everyday, where the material surface exists in a state between figurative precision and unpredictable abstract drift. __ @jack.dunnett #LeClezioGallery #LeClézioGalleryAranyaJinshanling @aranyaartcenter #AranyaJinShanLing #aranya __ 📷 Jack Dunnett, « The Well », 2023, oil on board, 12 x 13 cm, unique piece. __ 📷 Exhibition view : Jack Dunnett, « The Living Still Life », 2026, Le Clézio Gallery, Aranya JinShanLing © Jack Dunnett / Le Clézio Gallery / Aranya by @le_clezio_gallery
Au cœur de son propos, une conviction : “When we pay attention together […] we co-create […] the verb of art.”

__ 📍 Le Clézio Gallery (Aranya JinShanLing) Building 14-07, Aranya JinShanLing, Luanping County, China __ #DeborahFischer #LeClézioGallery @fondationcartier #LeClézioGalleryAranyaJinshanling #FondationCartier __ 📷 Laurent Edeline ©️ Deborah Fischer / Le Clézio Gallery by @le_clezio_gallery
