Pulling out the Dusty Covers: “Fade into You” Mazzy Star the band by @leaf_machine717

“Bones of Tin”- the last song we worked on as a band before we moved out of our space. The first song I play whenever I pick up my guitar. The song its self is about yearning, trying to obtain something lost, but to no avail. Literally “never going back again” to a space where our music creativity flourished and now whenever I pick the guitar back up this songs calls comes to me. As if I have some unfinished business, yearning for one day to jam with the fellas once more.

Anyway…rock on 🤘 !! Got a nice set up in my basement if anyone wants to jam 🎸 🎶

Got the toys out this morning for a little jam session in the bar studio 🎸 🎶 🎤

Grew up listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and I’ve been diving into covering a bunch of his songs. This is one of my favorites!!

A year ago today @leaf_machine717 released their critically acclaimed EP “Cliche Phrases” with its hit single “Day Old Coffee”. Okay maybe that’s stretching the truth just a little but I am still so proud of the music we released. Ever since I can remember I always wanted to be a singer of a band and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I had to work with the gentleman of Leaf Machine who helped make that dream come true. This EP is a testament to our hard work and journey over two years of working together and writing songs. Hope you enjoy my solo singing of “Day Old Coffee”. Hopefully one day soon the band will be back for an encore 🫶
