Everyone who knew me knew you.

13 years just wasn’t enough time with you. You were the first boy I ever loved. To say a cat saved me is crazy, but you did, so many times. Thank you for being the sweetest, most loving boy and for giving me 13 years of a love I will never forget. I hope you always knew just how loved you were, because you were loved more than words could ever explain. There will never be another you, ever. A piece of my heart will always belong to you. I love you forever and always, Poopy. Till we meet again.🤍 by @leah_varela627

Congratulations to Leah Varela for making the NTCA All-Rookie Team!!!

This post came a lot sooner than it ever should have. After a lot of thought, difficult conversations, and even more emotions, I’ve decided to do what I feel is best for me and end my college bowling career early.

There are so many emotions running through my head right now, and I don’t think I have the words to fully explain them all. This is not at all what I imagined my story would look like. There were so many things I still wanted to accomplish, so many goals I wanted to reach, and so many memories I thought I still had time to make.

To Piper, truthfully, this has been one bumpy ride for us, but I wouldn’t have wanted to go through it with anyone else by my side. I am so unbelievably proud of the person you are and the person you continue to become. Getting to watch you grow over the last four years has been such a privilege, and seeing you flourish into the person you are meant to be makes me so happy. Freshman-year us would probably be shocked by the thought of how close we are today, but I wouldn’t change a single thing about the journey that brought us here. We have been through so much together, and I am so grateful that somewhere along the way, we became more than just teammates. Even though our college careers may not look the way we once pictured them, I hope you know how proud I am of you. I cannot wait to see where life takes you, and I will always be cheering you on, no matter where I am.

To my team, I am so sorry. I wish more than anything that things could have turned out differently, and leaving you all is one of the hardest parts of this decision. I love you guys more than you know, and I hope you understand that this decision does not change how much you mean to me. If there is one thing I am certain of, it is that this past weekend is how I want to remember my college bowling career. Not because everything was perfect, but because I got to experience what it feels like to be surrounded by people who make this sport worth it. I wish I had more time with you, but I will forever be grateful for the time I did get. Thank you for making this chapter mean something different to me.

To my freshmen, you guys are going to do so many incredible t by @leah_varela627

2nd tournament done! To say it was a grind and a challenge would be an understatement but I’m so proud of these girls. We chased after what we wanted and showed up when it mattered the most. I wouldn’t want to figure it out with any other group. Here’s to the rest of the season!! by @leah_varela627

Last first tournament done🥲.
