I think it’s about time I let you all into my life a little bit more…

Sharing all my stories and experience on what it’s like moving to London, being apart of a reality show, attending the coolest events!
As well as also showing parts of my life which I normally keep to myself. Grief and loss of a parent, being diagnosed with epilepsy in my late 20’s, PCOS and endometriosis investigations.

Not to mention what it’s like as a millennial being single wondering if I want a family or even a relationship at all!

Over the next few weeks I will be diving in sharing my experiences and letting you in a bit more when it comes to who I really am.

This is the reality of reality ✨

Epilepsy and me 🧠

It’s actually crazy writing about this topic when I have been healthy and fit all of my life.

My health changed when I woke up in the middle of Manchester after being unconscious for just under ten minutes from having my first tonic clonic seizure.

I was surrounded by paramedics and some lovely random people who helped me in that moment.

Four years later after scans, overnight EEG, hospital admissions and appointments I was finally diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 28. I have generalized epilepsy which means basically anything can affect me having a seizure.
I am also in the process of being tested for focal epilepsy too.

Now I would be lying if I didn’t say this hadn’t changed my life but it really has. I take medication twice a day and I am in constant fear of feeling like a seizure will come on.
I’m no longer the outgoing confident person I used to be I’ve changed and I’m now learning to get used to this new version of me.

I never realised stress and trauma and the heartbreak of loosing my mum could have such a huge impact on my health.
My body could just not cope.

I’m not asking for sympathy or for anyone to feel sorry for me, I wanted to help share awareness on how dangerous stress can be for you and to always make sure you look after yourself because like me your whole life could change.

So this is part one of getting to know me, stay ready for the next because it’s a crazy ride ❤️

Relationships, love, dating and family ❤️

This get to know me is a little bit different than usual, I’m always being asked on my relationship status and if I want kids.
Here is a brief overview of my thoughts and where I stand with it all whilst asking myself the question of did I make the right decision? ✨
