It’s raining on prom night, my hair is a mess
It’s running all over my taffeta dress
It’s wilting the quilting on my maiden form
And mascara flows right down my nose
Because of the storm

You can see the glint of my necklace really well in this photo. It’s silver and sparkly and of a key. My grandmother gave it to me when I was about six and at some point I lost track of it. I’ve spent the past 10 years looking for it. Turned out my mom had it at the whole time.

FYI, to my relatives I have photos from the actual dance. I’m just waiting to get them back from friends

I spent ages working on that hair bump.

I like this one, I think I look like a vampire

I feel like this one, and all of them are like the finale of Jennifer’s body. That’s where they have a big fight after prom in an old building

This was the first good one we got, the flash was great

I blinked

I found the thick silver bracelet on my wrist in an old African style vase at my (other) grandma’s house. It belonged to my aunt and it is of roses. Also my dress is not taffeta its crinoline sorry to disappoint the grease accuracy-heads out there by @leahjaye802
