Dreaming of combining gorilla trekking with the Serengeti?

Here’s your sign 🦍✨

Throwback to one of my favourite educational trips through East Africa, combining Rwanda & Tanzania in one seamless itinerary.

🛩️ Oh! & with Grumeti Air’s direct Rwanda ~Tanzania connection, you’ll arrive at @singita_ private airstrip in the Grumeti Reserve, making it one of the easiest ways to combine both regions!

Two countries. Two extraordinary landscapes. One unforgettable journey 🌍 #takemeback #oursingita #reachout #heretohelp by @leaseguier

Family portrait 🦍
No matter how many times you do it, it always feels just as extraordinary!
After a 2-hour trek, we found the Isimbi family & spent an hour with them ~ 22 members: one silverback, nine adult females and 12 babies 🤍 #VisitRwanda ❤️

A few days well spent in Paris! ✨
I had the pleasure of attending the second edition of Crème de la Crème Travel Show, an event dedicated to luxury travel, hospitality and meaningful connections.

Three days of interesting conversations, discovering exceptional destinations and experiences, and exchanging ideas with people who share a passion for hospitality.

These exchanges offer fresh perspectives and new opportunities to further enrich the experiences we create for our Members at Quintessentially.

A big thank you to the Crème de la Crème team for the warm welcome and for organising such a successful event!

we met so many amazing people during our time with @singita_ in rwanda and tanzania. getting to know them and hearing how they came to work there was one of my favourite parts of the trip.

at kwitonda, charlotte showed us around the lodge. she started as a waitress (a role singita calls a banakeli) and is now the lodge manager.

at faru faru, we met gabriel, who was driving the staff bus eight years ago. today he’s the wine steward and is studying for his wset level 2.

they all looked after us so well, and it was so amazing to hear such inspiring stories - Singita’s focus on the community is unmatched. by @leaseguier

From Rwanda we flew to Tanzania, we spent four nights with @singita_ at two of their lodges in their private grumetti concession. There is something magical about having all this land to yourself, we were almost always the only vehicle at a sighting. After landing we met our amazing guide Adas who knew everything about the area including showing us the local lions, the start of the migration returning back south and teaching us about Tanzanian culture. by @leaseguier

And that’s a wrap! ✨
Merci @cremedelacremetravelshow ! Second edition and just as fantastic as the first!
A big thank you to @nico__zim & the entire @cremedelacremetravelshow team for another wonderful event. See you next year! 🥂 @singita_ by @leaseguier

there are only about 1300 gorillas in the world.

every day the gorillas move.
so the trail is never the same twice. trackers head out at dawn to find where the family settled, then radio back so we know where to go.

we walked about three hours through thick, green forest, listening to our guides share local stories along the way. then the trackers stopped, pointed, and there they were.

some of them came really close to us. we watched newborn babies clinging to their mothers, a silverback keeping watch over everyone. gorillas share 95% of our DNA so it’s an incredible and raw experience, because of this and stop diseases spreading you have to wear masks and can only spend an hour with the family.

we were so lucky to see the Hirwa gorilla family - very special family of mountain gorillas, famous for the rare birth of twins in 2016. hirwa means “the lucky one” in Kinyarwanda, symbolizing good fortune and hope

what a special and lucky experience. thank you @singita_ for brining us here by @leaseguier

i just arrived in rwanda as part of an educational trip with singita to see first-hand where we are sending our clients and the experiences they are offering.

we started in kigali and i have been so impressed with how clean the city is and how the chaos is organised. we had an epic local dinner with our guide, where we tried isombe, a pounded cassava dish, and then stayed overnight.

the next morning, we visited the genocide memorial and museum. this is a must-visit and should be done at the start of your trip. it was very hard but worthwhile, and really helps you understand the horrors of the past, what must not be repeated, and the history of the country.

after that, we made our way to volcanoes national park. follow along to see our stay at @singita_kwitonda by @leaseguier

Some experiences simply go beyond words. Singita is one of them.

In a world where everything moves so fast, there’s something truly special about slowing down. Being present, reconnecting with nature, and appreciating the smallest details.

Beyond the breathtaking landscapes, extraordinary wildlife and exceptional lodges, what truly sets Singita apart is its people, their passion, the genuine warmth, and the deep commitment to protecting these extraordinary places for generations to come.

Because ultimately, it’s not just about where you are, but how it makes you feel.

And that is the magic of Singita. 🤎 #oursingita by @leaseguier
