my life, my heart, my mind, and my soul are completely changed. i owe everything i am to this camp and the amazing people at @masc_mahs that work tirelessly to give every camper an experience worth sobbing for at the end. it’s impossible to put into words my experience, but i can try.

when i first came to camp, i wasn’t sure how to feel. i was the one of oldest in level one and felt very out of place, but i quickly forgot all about any of that right on the very first day. my group. the black gavels. you guys are more than just a council group, you are my chosen family alongside all the amazing people i’ve met this week. i love you and am so proud of all of you more than words can even describe.

milan, im sure you already know how grateful i am for you and all you do. but it’s more than just a jc. it’s more than just the long walks and the good music. you are a brilliant leader, genuine person, and someone i am more than lucky to get to say i know. you have inspired and changed me in more ways than you would ever know. thank you from the bottom of my heart. @milan_patel10_

A TEAM!!! ateam_hq you guys made this week. you made my week, along with everyone else’s week. without you guys, camp is just another week of chants and activities. your passion for leadership and community does not go unnoticed and i can only hope to be half the person that you guys are. WE LOVE YOU A TEAM!

my love letter to camp. thank you for being home for me, level one has my heart forever and always. #BG4L 🖤 by @leasharenay_
