Back in 2022 I spent time inside a tank fabrication shop shooting the people who build these tanks. When the grinder lit up inside that ring, I knew we had the shot.

Welding at the bench with the tanks lined up behind him. The scale of this place is wild in person.

Looking straight through the barrel. Every corner of this shop had a frame waiting in it.

Four days with Cornerstone this spring. Runway car rig by day, the hangar by evening, night exteriors, and interviews in between. This frame is the coach and the jet reflected on the tarmac at golden hour, both in one shot. Still one of my favorite things we've made this year.

This past January we headed into the Michigan winter with Sqwincher to shoot people who work outside no matter what the thermometer says. Linemen, loggers, construction crews. My fingers were numb most of the day, but moments like this one by the fire made it worth it. Huge thanks to the Sqwincher team for trusting us with this one. by @leclair.media

Framing crew in the stud walls this past January, nailer in hand. Winter jobs make some of my favorite frames. by @leclair.media

Way up on the pole in a Michigan winter. This crew made the cold look easy, which it absolutely was not. by @leclair.media

Water break at Skógafoss.

Katie and I shot a lot of this trip on our iPhones alongside the crew, and the last week of posts has all come from that camera roll. Thanks for having us, @sqwincher.

Steam, lights, and that milky blue water. The Blue Lagoon after dark.

Kerið. An old volcanic crater with a lake sitting right in the middle of it.
