Easter Sunday PB. 🐣🐰🥳🎣

Well happy with this common from my last awake over night session 😁, not seen this one before myself and thats the reason I was there to be honest a bit of mystery and no rules to abide by.. At first I was planning on going in a swim down the other end of the lake untill i seen a few fish topping around down the opposite end. Going against plans i got set up quick close to where the fish were and got some of my boilie in, not loads probably 7/800g of 18mm's over my two rods and casted two of my hand rolled pop ups over the top, few liners and bleeps here and there before a steady take that turned to an absolute one toner and the spool ticking away, proper fat park lake common at 26lb 4oz beating my PB by exactly 1lb. Great session! 😄✌🏻🎣

TBT to around 10 years ago with one we called “the big lin” from a big lake that only held a handful of carp over 15lb, one of my most memorable fishing moments 🎣🥰🐟

Happy halloween to you all! 🎃👻🎣

Hope you all have a great evening if on the bank or not, im making bait for the months ahead. The past few winters i have only targeted perch on lures but i fancy ago on the lakes after carp while its quiet this year i think and i will bring the lure rod along to see what stripeys are lurking. 🍻✌🏻

[Photo i took of some pumpkins i found growing along side the canal of all places 😅]

These shitters "changed" carp fishing forever with at least one probably ending up in every water in the country 🙄😂.. was all fun and games then on the runs water Earlswood lakes. ✌🏻🎣

Biggest one of the 48hr session for me at 25lb 6oz. One toner on the delk, big open water battle thinking it was possibly a cat at first before it eventually coming up and going into the net. As usual scatterings of my 18mm food baits out with the catty but this time snowman rigs over the top, well happy.

New PB mirror beating my previous by 12oz. 😄🥳✌🏻🎣

A few from a 48hr social session on a water new to me over the weekend testing out one of my new baits. This low 20 mirror being the biggest of this bunch but i also landed a PB mirror to 👌🏻.. Spent the first 24hrs on my usual pop ups over a scattering of 18mms but no result, was thinking a move might be on the cards in the morning but there was a good wind change so I stuck at it, was advised to fish at "10 wraps" which didnt do me any favours so i fked that off and fished at about 20 yards changed over to snowman rigs on the deck, kept a scattering of 18mms going in little and often with the catty and the bites come throughout the night until first light when i landed the smallest common.. really enjoyable session with great company! 🫶🏻✌🏻🎣

Two tone common from a few months ago..

Not been out for a couple weeks now with how hot/dry its been but anyway this was the best one of a few bites at 19lb and oz, still well happy with this one was in beautiful condition and a nice come back after losing a good fish. 🙄😄👌🏻 As usual few of my own 18mm cod balls out with the catty and a pop up casted over the top doing the bites.✌🏻🎣

Few shots from a couple of weeks ago, only a little 15lb an oz common but a nice shaped fish in good condition.👌🏻 Simple sh!t, few 18mm cod balls and a pop up casted over the top after seeing some bubbles. First time i have seen the UK glowing golden/brown like a desert. 🏜🦋✌🏻🎣
