If you know, you know.
If you don’t, we did. 💍

I love this woman with all my heart and am so happy and blessed to be spending the rest of our days together.

Wedding party next year 💃🕺

I love you so much @greenierabbit by @leestone0023

The perfect end to the perfect trip… 🤩

My gran for almost 30 years has signed off every long distance phone conversation we have ever had with “I just wish you would find someone to settle down with and to take care of you”

So to be able to come home, and show her at 101 years of age that I had finally achieved that goal by getting engaged on Xmas eve made her, me and Frieda the happiest people in London.

The love I have for both these women is immeasurable. Possibly the highlight of this entire incredible trip was being able to tell my gran “I had finally found that woman to take care of me”. And despite the challenges of finding mental clarity that comes with age my gran found the sharpness to reply immediately without skipping a beat…

“No! YOU must take care of Freida and you have to take care of each other” as she beamed from ear to ear, was absolutely everything. Still wise to this day.

England. Whilst I may never move back or certainly for a long long time to come, this Christmas, and on this entire trip, you were magnificent ❤️🇬🇧🎄

My heart is full of love and positivity and what more could one ask for before returning home 🙏🏼 by @leestone0023

One of the most awe inspiring discoveries in my time here was today in Penida at the Goa Giri Putri Temple hidden deep inside a cave.

After taking a couple of minutes to enter the rabbit hole entrance due to a mild case of claustrophobia causing my heart to start pounding like Ginger Bakers bass drum I ducked down and crawled in…

It was worth it. What a magnificent scene of spirituality and beauty opened up in front of me. With the cavernous walls, fallen boulders and dripping water it was tinged with a sense of darkness too which only added to the whole experience.

I didn’t film everything in there, partly because im Gen X and don’t feel the need to but more so because of the desire to keep it organic and immerse myself in the moment.

I was alone as Frieda wasn’t permitted due to lady issues, so took my time and knelt in front of the main temple (see cover photo) and meditated.

What a profound experience and reminder of why I live here, it’s these moments, that most people only enjoy through a screen that make me feel so blessed to call this home.

About six months ago me and @greenierabbit discovered a dog tied up in the farmers hut on the right of this video whilst walking our girls. We spoke to the farmer who was a nice guy but didn’t really understand dogs and whilst we didn’t tell him he had to let the dog free he definitely understood we weren’t happy about it.

A couple of weeks later he had released the dog (the bigger one out the two) and after a few nervous attempts to connect we eventually broke through as he loved playing with Rocksteady and we started to bring him treats every day.

Roll on a few months and he is now the happiest friendliest dog. We feed him proper dogfood everyday and he now also has a bestie who we think may be his daughter. We call him Paddy and she’s called Patricia (don ask).

In this crazy world we live in the mutual joy we get from our daily meet ups is so pure and brings a genuine lift to my day every single time.
