🐾 $5 FRIDAY | HELP US REOPEN OUR DOORS TO THE DOGS WHO NEED US. ❤️ The last few months have been some of the hardest we’ve faced as a rescue. We’ve battled overwhelming medical emergencies, unexpected surgeries, mounting veterinary debt, dogs requiring extensive rehabilitation, and the heartbreaking reality of having to temporarily close our intake. We’ve had dogs fighting for their lives, dogs needing thousands of dollars in medical care, and dogs with nowhere else to turn. We’ve faced financial setbacks, difficult decisions, and moments where we’ve wondered how we could possibly keep going. But through it all, we’ve continued showing up for the dogs already depending on us. And the hardest part? Knowing there are still so many dogs waiting for us to say yes. Our intake remains closed while we work to get our medical debt under control and stabilize our rescue financially. This was never a decision we wanted to make. Every day, we receive pleas for dogs facing euthanasia, dogs abandoned by their families, and dogs desperately needing medical intervention. We want to help them. We just can’t do it without help ourselves. Today, we’re asking our community for something small that could make an enormous difference. Just $5. ☕️ If even a fraction of our supporters donated $5 today, we could make meaningful progress toward paying down our medical debt and reopening intake. We have worked too hard, saved too many lives, and built something too important to give up now. WAYS TO DONATE 🐾 🤎 Venmo: @legacyoflove805 🤎 Zelle: nick@legacyoflove805.com 🤎 PayPal: alyssa@legacyoflove805.com 🤎 Website: legacyoflove805.org To everyone who has fostered, adopted, donated, volunteered, or simply shared our dogs, thank you. You are the reason we’ve made it through every hurdle so far. We aren’t done saving lives. We just need a little help getting back to saying YES. ❤️ #LegacyOfLove805 #FiveDollarFriday #RescueDogs #SupportAnimalRescue #HelpUsSaveLives by @legacyoflove805

Our hearts are broken. 💔 Daisy was just starting her new life when she got spooked and slipped away from her foster home on Sunday 10/4 near Wisteria Street in Fillmore. She is young, sweet and terrified right now, and she needs her community to help bring her home. Please DO NOT chase or call out to her. She will run. If you see her, stay still, crouch low, avoid eye contact and call or text us right away with the exact spot and time. 📞 805-833-1950 📞 805-833-1951 We are offering a $1,000 reward for her safe return. Please share, check your yards and cameras, and keep an eye out. We won’t stop until she’s home. 🙏 #LostDog #FillmoreCA #VenturaCounty #HelpDaisyGetHome #RescueDog LegacyOfLove805 by @legacyoflove805

💔 CALI IS LOSING HER FOSTER HOME THIS FRIDAY! 💔 Sweet Cali is just 5 months old, and instead of growing up in a forever home, she’s still waiting for someone to choose her. Now, her foster placement is coming to an end this Friday, and we desperately need somewhere for this little girl to go. 🥺 Cali has spent so much of her puppyhood in foster care, and while we’re incredibly grateful for the love she’s received, we want so much more for her. She is a small-to-medium breed girl with the sweetest personality! She absolutely loves other dogs, adores people, and has so much love to give. She’s vaccinated and will be spayed soon. At just 5 months old, Cali should be making memories with her forever family, not wondering where she’ll go next. 💗 We would LOVE to see Cali adopted before Friday, but if her forever family hasn’t found her yet, we urgently need another foster to step up. Please help us keep this sweet girl out of the kennel. She deserves to spend her puppyhood feeling safe, loved, and wanted. 🏡 FOSTER OR ADOPT CALI! 📍 Ventura County, Southern California 🐾 Apply at legacyoflove805.org Please share Cali. Her perfect family might be just one share away. 🤍 #AdoptCali #FosterNeeded #LegacyOfLove805 #AdoptDontShop #VenturaCountyRescue by @legacyoflove805
💕 ELLIE IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! 🐾 How has this sweet Frenchie not found her person yet?! 🥹💗 Meet Ellie, our adorable French Bulldog who is estimated to be around 4 to 6 years old. Ellie has so much love to give, and we know her perfect family is out there somewhere! Ellie is wonderful with kids and absolutely loves human attention. She is dog selective, so we feel she would thrive best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. 🏡 We know everyone loves Frenchies, but Ellie deserves more than just someone who loves her breed. She deserves someone who will love HER, understand her personality, and give her the forever home she’s been waiting for. She’s ready to be someone’s little best friend, couch companion, and spoiled princess. 👑🐶 📍 Ventura County, California 🐾 Apply to adopt Ellie at www.legacyoflove805.org Please share Ellie! Her forever family might be just one share away. 💕 Welcome to the Legacy, where healing happens on both ends of the leash. ❤️ #LegacyOfLove805 #AdoptEllie #FrenchBulldogRescue #AdoptDontShop #FrenchieLove by @legacyoflove805
💕 MEET GWEN! THE SMILE THAT WILL STEAL YOUR HEART! 🐾 Seriously, how has this sweet girl not found her forever family yet?! Just LOOK at that face! 😍 Gwen is an adorable 2-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing just under 15 pounds, and she is the perfect combination of sweet, cuddly, and playful! This little lady has so much love to give. She absolutely adores attention, loves going on walks, and will never turn down a good treat! She’s also house trained and has wonderful manners in the home. ❤️ Gwen can be a little cautious when entering new spaces or walking through unfamiliar doorways, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and playful personality shines! She loves being the center of attention and isn’t afraid to compete with other pets for a little extra love. 😂 At just 14.7 pounds, she’s the perfect little companion for someone looking for a best friend to cuddle with, take on adventures, and spoil endlessly. Gwen is ready for her forever home! Could you be the person she’s been waiting for? 🥹💕 📍 Ventura County, CA 🐾 Apply to adopt at www.legacyoflove805.org Please share Gwen so we can find her the family she deserves! #LegacyOfLove805 #AdoptGwen #AdoptDontShop #RescueDogsOfInstagram #VenturaCountyDogs by @legacyoflove805
A little Kiki update for everyone who has been following her story. 🥹💗 Our sweet girl had her ear hematoma drained this morning, and she was such a good girl through it all. We seriously cannot get over how sweet this little dog is. After everything she’s been through, she still just wants to be loved. In the next few days, Kiki will be heading to a long term foster home where she can finally settle in, decompress, and just enjoy being a dog. No more uncertainty, no more being left behind. Just a safe place to rest, heal, and be spoiled like she deserves. ❤️ We also want to take a moment to thank this incredible community for showing up for Kiki. Every donation, every share, and every kind word has meant so much to us. We know we ask for help often, and we never take for granted the people who continue to believe in what we do. Because of you, dogs like Kiki get a chance at a better life. Thank you for loving this little girl right alongside us. We can’t wait to watch her blossom. 🥹🐾💕 #LegacyOfLove805 #KikisJourney #FrenchieRescue #RescueDogs #HealingOnBothEndsOfTheLeash by @legacyoflove805
🫐💙 BLUEBERRY’S BABIES FOUND THEIR FOREVER HOMES… NOW IT’S MAMA’S TURN! 💙🫐 Our sweet mama Blueberry has officially finished raising her little berries, and now she’s ready for a forever family of her very own! 🥹🐾 Blueberry came into our rescue with five precious puppies, and she has spent her time with us being the best mama to her babies. She made sure they were loved, cared for, and ready to take on the world. Now that her babies have found their happily ever afters, we want Blueberry to know what it feels like to be someone’s baby, too. 💕 No more motherhood duties. No more putting everyone else first. Just cozy beds, belly rubs, adventures, and a family who will love her for the rest of her life. Blueberry is a beautiful mini Aussie mix who deserves every bit of the love she has given her puppies. Her babies got their happy endings. Now let’s give mama hers! 🫐💙 📍 Ventura County, CA 🐾 Apply to adopt at www.legacyoflove805.org #LegacyOfLove805 #AdoptBlueberry #MamaDogsNeedLoveToo #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop by @legacyoflove805
🐾❤️ ADOPT THE HANDSOME MIKE! ❤️🐾 HOW is this handsome boy STILL waiting for his forever home?! 🥹 Mike was rescued from the Carson Shelter in May 2025, and despite everything he’s overcome, he is still waiting for someone to choose him. He spent nine wonderful months in a foster home, completed months of professional training, and has now spent nearly a year at our rescue facility. Almost two years of waiting, and still no forever family. 💔 Mike has been loved, advocated for, and given every opportunity to succeed. But what he really needs is a HOME. 🐾 A little about Mike: ❤️ Neutered ❤️ Has completed professional training ❤️ Has experience living in a home ❤️ Would thrive in an adult-only household ❤️ Needs to be the only pet ❤️ Looking for an experienced, committed adopter Mike does have a bite history, which we are fully transparent about. We believe he deserves a responsible, experienced home that understands his needs and will continue setting him up for success. And here’s the best part… 🎉 MIKE’S ADOPTION FEE IS FULLY SPONSORED! 🎉 That’s right! His adoption fee is $0 for the right approved home. We cannot understand how this incredible boy continues to be overlooked. He has spent so much of his life waiting, and we desperately want his next chapter to be the one where he finally belongs. 📍 Ventura County, CA 🌐 Apply at www.legacyoflove805.org 📸 A HUGE thank you to @pawtraits_byus for capturing Mike so beautifully and helping our long-term residents get the visibility they deserve! Your photography gives dogs like Mike another chance to be seen. ❤️ PLEASE SHARE MIKE! Somewhere out there is the person who will finally give this handsome boy the home he’s been waiting for. 🏡 #LegacyOfLove805 #AdoptMike #AdoptDontShop #LongTermRescueDog #VenturaCountyRescue by @legacyoflove805
💕 BONNIE NEEDS HER FOREVER HOME! 🐾🏡 How is this beautiful girl still waiting for someone to choose her?! 🥹❤️ Bonnie is estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old, and she has been patiently waiting for a family to call her own. Bonnie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to start her next chapter! 🐾 A little about Bonnie: ❤️ 3 to 5 years old ❤️ Spayed and fully vaccinated ❤️ Does wonderfully as a solo dog ❤️ Can be dominant with other dogs, so thoughtful introductions and the right match are important ❤️ Experiences some separation anxiety and would benefit from a patient, consistent home ❤️ Has so much love to give! Bonnie would be perfectly happy being someone’s one and only! She doesn’t need a house full of dogs or constant excitement. She needs stability, love, and someone who will make her feel safe and secure. We know there’s a home out there where Bonnie will absolutely thrive. We just need to find it. 🥹 📍 Ventura County, CA 🌐 Apply to adopt at www.legacyoflove805.org 📸 A special thank you to @pawtraits_byus for capturing Bonnie’s beauty and helping our adoptable dogs shine! We appreciate you so much! ❤️ Please share Bonnie.
