What's it really like to work in the pharmaceutical industry?

This week, Lehigh University College of Health students had the opportunity to hear from Chris Holt, Vice President of Global Technical Services at Bristol Myers Squibb, during our Lunch & Learn.

Chris shared insights into the pharmaceutical industry, offering students a firsthand perspective on the work, challenges and opportunities involved in supporting global healthcare.

Thank you to Chris for taking the time to connect with our students and provide a valuable look into careers in pharma! by @lehighcoh

Drawing on decades in law and public service, former U.S. representative Susan Wild is offering Lehigh students firsthand perspectives on how policy takes shape.

Wild is teaching an upper-level course in the College of Health focused on health policy, which is designed around discussion, participation and debate, with students presenting arguments about healthcare and developing their public-speaking skills.

After a career spanning law, public policy and six years representing the Lehigh Valley in Congress, Wild is now bringing her experience into the classroom.

“I’ve had all these great honors in my life,” Wild said. “It is also a great honor to be asked to teach at a school like Lehigh, and I’m really proud.”

Behind every fertility statistic is a conversation about choice. And behind those choices are complex questions about autonomy, policy and societal expectations.

Yesterday, the College of Health's Sexual and Reproductive Health Power Lab welcomed Dr. Laura Lindberg of @rutgerssph for its inaugural speaker event.

Her lecture explored pronatalism, declining fertility rates and the evolving conversation surrounding reproductive autonomy.

Thank you to Dr. Lindberg and everyone who joined us for a thought-provoking discussion and thank you to The Jaffe Health Hope Fund, which brought this important conversation the College of Health. by @lehighcoh
