Another beautiful Wild Women’s evening, with a wonderful group of ladies who embraced every minute of it, so inspiring seeing what happens when we all come together to gather, unwind and create. In a lush setting at the Residency Space @leighmarina__ the rain and whistling of the wind created some special ambiance and a starting point for letting our marks flow and be expressed by responding to the natural sounds, followed by music.

While loosely being inspired by the fluid and often quite dark works of Louise Bourgeois - I led the session focusing on a series of her quotes & some of her spider works, one in particular that took my eye - “I do, I undo, I redo” - helping to relinquish fear and control and have courage to share in creating by collaborating and rotating around the table, adding to each others work… followed by tearing up our work, disrupting it and recreating it! - Make a mark, disrupt it, layer over it, tear it up, recreate it and discover something unexpected 🖤

These session are all about being in a welcoming space for women to explore their creativity, express freely and embrace being in a state of flow. There’s no pressure to create a finished piece, engaging in the process and letting yourself run with your own feelings and wild intuition.

Come to the next session to play, explore and see what awakens, on November 21st - booking link in bio

Also upcoming workshop this week -

The Witch’s Table - Friday 30th 7-9.30pm
Come & join me in an eerie creative space - with a sprinkle of practical magic nostalgia thrown into the mix - this session will include a painted canvas to take home with you - booking link in bio

Wild kids - Saturday 31st October, 10-11.30am - Autumn Halloween & Nature workshop, DM to book in! by @leighmarina__

TWO NIGHTS. ONE SPECIAL PLACE 🌙🪩🌀🌊🎆

We’ve been curating something a little different down here at the marina…

As the evenings draw in and the seasons shift, we’re getting ready to bring a little warmth, life and magic to the waterfront.

Good food, good people, music, a little bit of the unexpected — and a whole load of lovely humans coming together.

We’re not giving too much away just yet 👀

But we’d love you to keep these two evenings free.

6TH & 7TH NOVEMBER

The Yard is an ever-changing space, curated with so many awesome minds — and this Indian summer has got us kicking ourselves that we didn’t prolong the pizza parties with @cenzos + BBQs with @keirantemple 😭

SO, with the sunshine sticking around for the weekend, Keiran’s firing up the barbie for an awesome little POP-UP…

🌮 BBQ BREAKFAST TACOS 🌮

It’s our last pop-up of the Summer this Friday, and while we’re sad to see it come to an end, we’re going out the best way we know how with music and pizza! 🍕🪩

Come and celebrate with us in the yard as we see the Summer out together. We can’t wait to spend one last pop-up with you. ❤️

🍕 Pizza from 12pm
🍻 Bar open from 2pm
🎶 @houseofcardinal spinning the tunes from 3pm

See you Friday! ✨ by @leighmarina__

A little nervous (and excited) to share this one…

Next Friday, I’ll be sharing a collection of my photographs in their residency space down at Leigh Marina.

Above & Beneath the Surface explores the ocean from different perspectives — light, movement, life, and everything that quietly unfolds in between.

Come have a wander, grab a drink, some pizza, and spend a little time by the water 🤍

What a banger of a weekend 💥

Thanks to everyone who made it down! We raised some money, had a laff & felt the community in full force. You lot are wicked!

Thanks for your continued support over the summer too 🤎 It really feels like we’re building something a bit mega cool down here — and it’s truly a collective effort.

The marina, all the awesome businesses involved, the people working behind the scenes & our incredible community who keep showing up and bringing the energy.

Big love from Leigh Marina 🌊⚓️

What a day for Gold Geese 💛

From Markus taking on 1,000 pull-ups, to sports day chaos, the Beat the Goalie challenge, Stardust dancing, Cenzos pizza, Bea on the ‘photo booth’ and plenty of Gold Geese beer…

Sunday was exactly what Gold Geese is about bringing people together, having fun and raising awareness.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, got involved and helped us make it such a special one.. 💛
