I am SO PROUD of my fellow Texans tonight. We live in a blue state now and it’s because y’all showed up. The power IS with the people, and this midterm election you proved that it works when we show up. IS THIS WHAT HOPE FEELS LIKE!? by @lensofathenaphotography
New headshot alert!! I took Michael’s headshots about a year ago and, truthfully, wasn’t happy how they turned out. Sometimes it happens even if the client is happy as can be. I asked him to let me retake them before we both took off to tour our show, Yamel Cucuy. I am so happy we got to take the time to get them done! Michael, working alongside you is such a joy. Here’s to many more opportunities to collaborate. #headshots #actor #photographer #actorheadshots #austin by @lensofathenaphotography

Finally ready to unveil the final portraits! These are a combination of photography, practical effects (props, set, costumes), and digital illustration done by me in procreate. I couldn’t find the backdrops I wanted for the price I wanted and the colors I needed, so I tried my hand at painting with light instead. Success! Gricelda’s portrait was inspired by the work she does and the way she allows empty pages to soar & become stories. Devising isn’t always easy though. A lot of ideas actually end up in the trash and it can be a frustrating journey. But when you finally fill the pages, you breathe new life into the world. #photography #portrait #photographers #procreate #femalephotographer by @lensofathenaphotography

When looking for your life partner, look for someone like this man. Someone who believes in you so much that they refuse to let you quit. Someone who will sacrifice two rare days off to switch out giant rolls of backdrop paper to make sure your shoot goes as smoothly as possible. Someone who will take the time to make sure you have absolutely everything you need so you don’t feel so anxious. I took on my biggest photoshoot ever and I truly couldn’t have called it a success if it wasn’t for Justin taking on half the work with me. Thank you and I love you! 😘 by @lensofathenaphotography
