Being Broke never looked so good 💎

@broke.sean has built one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever laid eyes on - a bagged Carrera 964 on 3 piece BBS wheels, all tied together with a fresh Miami Blue paint job and pin point calculated fitment. This isn’t just a car, it’s art.

Had an amazing time capturing this beauty with fellow friends and photographers @inyourfayes, @xenon.media, @f4ttymedia, @lars.wempe, and @danskimm - be sure to give them all a follow to see how their sets came out!

Much more photos to post from this one so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Getting there with this thing slowly but surely, certification spec does have a nice look to it though🏎

What’s better than a drift spec S13? A street legal one😎

A Rocket Bunny gem hidden in the North 💎

Originally emerging from the Madlab stables, this Rocket Bunny MX-5 truely holds down a presence that not many cars can hold a flame to - whether it’s the massive wing, 1 off 3-piece Rotiforms, or crazy width that the RB Widebody adds, no matter where you look at this thing you can see some proper kiwi touches on a modern Japanese legend.

The legendary McLaren Senna💎

By far the craziest car I’ve had the honour of privately shooting - the presence of this car is second to none. What a privilege. Huge shoutout to Retro Rides and @sonny_g__cars for making this come together

If you’re in the market be sure to keep an eye on @retrorides_classics 👀

A Diablo, RX-7, and E36 had a party, this was the result🔥

It’s not every day you find a 13B rotary inside of the front of a Lamborghini Diablo shaped drift car, on-top of a BMW E36 chassis - but @itsmikelake has somehow managed to piece the puzzle together and create Australia’s wildest drift weapon👌🏻

Massive thanks to @itsmikelake for the hospitality and @inyourfayes for coming along to one hell of a shoot - Melbourne sure knew how to put on a show for us with some awesome sun!

The Final Boss of Holden Engineering💪

HSV GTS W557 - A car that was already as tough as nails has received the full Walkinshaw Performance treatment. Sporting a pulley upgrade - WP Camshaft - Ceramic Coated headers + High-flow Cats - WP Cold Air Intake - High flow Injectors - and a Custom WP ECU Re-map, taking this beast to 557KW / 750HP to the crank.

Enough horses to get you from 0 to trouble in no time🔥

💰 This beast won’t stick around for long! For $104,999 or $585/week - it’s hard to get more car for your money these days!

Embody Your Inner Rally Driver ✨

Born in the era of Subaru WRC domination - the version 8 Impreza WRX STI is the ultimate form of an all but forgotten era of JDM legends.

Coming out of the box with “285hp” (or so they say, they’re proven to be more!), a fully adjustable differential bias, 6 speed manual, and suspension setup that feels more akin to a go-kart than an AWD sedan - this 2L Turbocharged beast is certain to bring out your inner child🔥

Port Hills and a WRX - a perfect combo🌲

I’ve now shot this gold and silver weapons on both sides of the country, in all stages of modified, over the last 6 years. Wouldn’t have it any other way - it’s always good (and terrifying) to sit shotgun in this thing.

Another throwback to Christchurch in July - it definitely would’ve been rude not to shoot this thing in its natural habitat.

Procharged - 1000hp - XY Falcon 🇦🇺

It doesn’t get much more Australian muscle than this. Alan’s XY Falcon is truely one of a kind. Especially with a 1000hp 572 big block wrestled under the bonnet🔥

Swipe through to see just what it takes to achieve this level of toughness! Featuring this beast back in NZV8 Issue 224 was a full circle moment - shooting at a location that started my photography passion many years ago now, would’ve been rude not to throw it back to the old money factory spot!

The Essence of Spirit 🎌

What a special one. My first written article amongst the legendary pages of @nzperformancecar, and with no other than Elise’s / @spiritrei_miyabi Spirit Rei S13 - perfect is really an understatement. Macfarlane Auto’s sure knows how to piece together a build, that’s for sure! After all, you don’t get the @driftgames.life pick of the show for no reason.

Having known Elise and Kenny from my days in Rotovegas, it was such a pleasure to be able to do them the solid of capturing this beauty. Thanks to @dwood.nz for being very busy at the LZWT in Taupo, I was more than happy to take over on this one (if you want to feature cool cars in Taupo, chances are Danny already beat you to it😂).

Enjoy this set - I poured a lot of effort into this one to make it happen, many revisions, different looks, etc, but I’d like to think what I’ve landed on here somewhat does this thing justice. Although you have to see it in person to really get the full picture.

The dream spec Audi R8 🌙

It would’ve been rude to go to Christchurch and not shoot something cool. Luckily @shotsbyjack_ had my back and secured this beautifully specced Audi R8 for us to work some magic on.

It really is hard to beat the sound of a roaring V10 sitting inches behind you. One for the dream car list👌🏻
