One major highlight of the last months in Thailand: building spaces and sharing music. Managing the workshop zones at @gaiabeatsfestival while also getting a chance to play the now infamous @thebunkerstage. Responsibility & fun are mixing well together in spaces like these. by @leo_cameo

Fans, scooters, sunrises. A festival season in Thailand coming to a close 🙏

Grateful for all the beautiful moments and awesome crew working at

Wrapping up another season in Thailand (first time in Chiang Dao).

The idea was to find balance and peace between high intensity festival circuit and a quiet life secluded in the mountains.

Working on projects like Wonderfruit, Gaia Beats and Pai World Rhythms while exploring even more along the way.

Back to Europe soon for the summer — excited for the inspiration and projects waiting on the other side :)

Phew. What a night. From 2 pm - 5 am. Loading turntables, setting up speakers, searching cables. What a ride through 6 hours of weird ambient music from 12 years of digging. It's so nice to be able to play this stuff for an audience and get the nice feedback I did - what I'd really like to see is the chillout room coming back. Not just different dance music, which is what you usually have these days. But a dedicated cuddly cozy trippy ambient room. That'd be awesome, please promoters 🙏 I'm happy I got to do this, even though it was a lot of energy to make it happen. Let's try again next summer! 🎵 I usually don't record things but this time somehow it worked out alright. So here's a short (2,5 hours) cut from the night. I'll leave it on soundcloud: https://t.ly/0eaQt by @leo_cameo

@landjuweel.festival @ruigoord The Polysson Temple Thursday 15th 01.30-04.00 @dekudj has been DJing for over a decade, spinning vinyl wherever possible. The medium is the message. His formative years were spent in Cologne’s vibrant Drum & Bass scene, later Berlin became a teacher of all things 4/4. Heavy intoxication with with House, Disco and all sorts of off-kilter Techno ensued. Eventually, Europe got traded for Southeast Asia, now Deku is based in Thailand. Here he teaches yoga and combines spiritual philosophy with electronic music, hosting Ecstatic Dance events.Taste from last year https://on.soundcloud.com/crCvxiaoEjTvAfLd6 #thepolyssontemple #fluffy #fluffiness #thevalparaìso #landjuweel by @leo_cameo

@garbicz_festival was such a trip. 2 weeks on site, full responsibility. Growth in a lot of ways I hadn't seen it coming. Thanks to the lovely team of @lilacollectiveplayground we made magic happen. Can't wait to do it again and have the Ambient Floor come to a festival near you! ;-) I'm happy to collaborate with anyone aligned in sharing quality experiences for people with solid intentions! 🙏 by @leo_cameo

I missed a couple post opportunities here. First would've been around New Year's. I would've elaborated in detail about how I returned to Kpg and felt like it wasn't meant to be my home anymore. I would've spent paragraphs detailing how I got the message that my time was up, and how I didn't waste any moment going through with the chord cutting and the leaving/griefing process. 2ndly, I would've probably chimed in with a post from the road mid January; when I was trying to get myself up to the northern parts of Thailand, where I was headed in order to find out what's next. I was looking for the experience of being in a tent with my bike, somewhere in the mountains; but instead of just going there, I felt like I needed to make it an adventure. So I spend a lot of time and energy and resources on a bike trip from Bangkok up north, which afterall didn't feel like what I really needed / had energy for (fell ill twice!).
It did though reveal a tendency of mine to never settle for the easy, straight route between two points A&B- it somehow always needs to be an adventure, even without checking in whether that is actually the beneficial choice in the moment... Fast forward to day, I spent 6 weeks in Chiang Dao; 5 of those in that tent I envisioned. I made local friends, hotspring'd every day, showered in the river, crashed my bike & survived. It feels like Chiang Dao has welcomed me and it will be the base for some more seasons to come 🇹🇭
Shambhala festival was beautiful and emotionally challenging; I went through some relationship patterns in high speed - again seeing where I'm doing something that's not really aligned with staying true to myself. Thankful for the teachints - It's been a season of transition, one without much outer stability or work. But it feels like now new visions and projects are ahead, and there's some newfound motivation about raising funds to bring them into material existence. Flying home tonight, my first spring in 6 years. 6+ months ahead in Europe this time: exciting, scary. See you in Berlin & the festival circuit. Much love y'all by @leo_cameo
