🌈✈️ Flieb' wen du willst // ‘Flieb‘ whoever you want – Cologne Pride 2025 🌈

Despite wind and rain, around 240 Lufthansa Group employees braved the weather last Saturday together with Eurowings and colored the sky at Cologne Pride in Burgundy.

A total of around 60,000 people took part in Cologne Pride, marching colorfully and loudly through the streets of Cologne to demonstrate for the rights of queer people. Among the 250 groups and 90 floats was the Eurowings truck, riding under the motto ‘Many, together, strong’. Wearing matching T-shirts branded with the slogan “Flieb' wen du willst”, our colleagues presented diversity and solidarity. Highly motivated, they handed out colorful fans, captain's hats, and glitter tattoos to the spectators. With professional musical accompaniment by @djanethunderpu66y, there was also singing, dancing, and laughter.

Once again, it was clear that our colleagues' commitment to standing up for queer people is an important, lived aspiration that will endure regardless of the proverbial headwinds.

Together with Eurowings, we will also participate in the demonstrations at BER and STR on July 26 and at HAM on August 2.
