On a street full of similar homes, one always stands apart. In this concept with @letsthinkdesignfirst @architectinheels

Metalia explores what it means to choose identity over uniformity. As the frame moves closer, the facade reveals thoughtful design where every neighbour sees only sameness.

This is presence, engineered with intention. Because in a row of houses, only one becomes a home.

Metalia — designed to stand out.

NEW ADDRESS. SAME LEGACY.

If you’ve just found us here, welcome to LTDF Design Studio

We’ve moved to a new Instagram home, and we’re building this page from the ground up — bringing together our work, our design thinking, and the stories behind the spaces we create.

For those discovering us for the first time, LTDF (Let’s Think Design First) is an architecture and interior design practice founded in 1997, with decades of experience across residences, retail, hospitality, wellness and corporate spaces led by Ar. Natasha & Ar. Prashaant Kochhar.

This page may be new, but our journey in design is anything but.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing projects, ideas, material explorations, design perspectives and glimpses into the way we think.

Consider this the beginning of a new chapter. We’re glad you’re here.

A home designed to reveal itself slowly.

Set within the lanes of Sultanpur, this family residence balances privacy and openness through a tall champagne-toned louvered screen that wraps its central volume.

Rather than relying on solid walls, the facade filters light, frames views, and creates a sense of enclosure through rhythm and repetition.

A reminder that the most impactful facades don’t just protect a building—they define how it is experienced.

Dining with a view. Clusters of woven rattan pendants hang beneath a timber ceiling, casting warm, dappled light across a room that opens wide to the water and hills beyond.

Cane-backed chairs, solid wood tables and potted greens keep the palette natural and relaxed, while large windows let the landscape take centre stage. A space for long lunches and lingering sunsets.

Every home holds a story, told through the spaces people gather in and the objects they choose to keep close. Here, art, light and material come together to create interiors that feel rich, personal and full of character.

Warm glows, polished surfaces, sculptural pieces and fresh florals add layers of life to each room, while thoughtful styling makes the home feel inviting and truly lived in. Step inside and discover a residence shaped around the way its owners love to live.

The first step inside sets the tone for everything that follows. A tall pivot door in glass, wood and metal opens into a foyer finished in boldly veined marble, its slim bronze grid catching the light as it turns.

At 1240 mm by 3328 mm, the door moves on a FritsJurgens System M+ pivot, gliding open with a single touch and settling softly back into place. Sheer drapes, a fine lighting reveal and a single artwork complete an entrance that is refined, generous and precise in every detail. Door produced by Ravish Vohra, distributed by Mahayco Enterprises, Delhi.

Deep sectional seating in warm taupe and burnt orange gathers around low timber tables, while brass screens and framed artwork add layers along the far wall.

The slatted ceiling and its linear lights carry the eye across the full length of the lounge, tying both halves together. One generous space, built for family, friends and long conversations.

Scale, rhythm and colour meet in this grand lounge. A timber-slatted ceiling runs overhead with fine linear lights, drawing the eye toward a vivid circular artwork set into a wall of pale marble.

Bold orange seating, a sweeping staircase and a monochrome striped rug bring energy to the space. Swipe across the grid to see the room in full.

Elegance, in the round. A grand crystal chandelier crowns this formal living room, its sparkle echoed by curved sofas arranged in a gentle circle around a marble coffee table.

Gold fluted side tables, a richly patterned rug and soft blue drapes add warmth and ceremony, while a recessed ceiling frames it all. A room made for hosting with grace.

As the light changes, so does the experience. A colonnade of tall columns and a timber pergola frame this courtyard dining space, casting long shadows that shift from morning into evening.

Trees grow through the heart of the space, with a long dining table set beneath the open sky. Architecture, greenery and light come together here to make every meal feel like a gathering outdoors.

LTDF Design Studio is led by Prashaant and Natasha Kochhar, whose shared vision shapes the character of the studio. Bringing together architecture, interiors and a deep respect for craft, they guide a dedicated team in creating homes that feel personal, refined and made to be lived in.

Their partnership sets the tone for every project. From the first conversation to the final detail, each space reflects a belief that design should begin with thought, care and a clear understanding of how people want to live.

A lounge that opens up to the view. Sheer drapes and slender timber screens layer the room, softening the light while framing glimpses of the water and greenery outside.

Deep armchairs, a sculpted floor pouf and an open shelving unit styled with plants and objects create a calm, inviting corner. A place to read, rest and watch the light shift across the day.
