Lash Maben Laroux
1/21/26
6 pounds 8 ounces

A weeks worth of having all my babies under 1 roof. Pure joy and chaos.
I am forever changed by the outpouring of love and prayers and home cooked meals and playdates for the big kids and a community of people in Houston who loved on me while I was away from home.

God has been so faithful and so present in every single moment of this process.
Based on the MRI Lash received at birth, the blood clot was HALF the size it had been 8 weeks prior in the fetal ultrasound 🥹🙌
Veins re-routed to allow for normal blood flow around the clot and No signs of strokes or lack of oxygen to his brain were seen.
Of course, there are still some things we will continue to monitor, and we will be back at Texas Children’s for our next MRI in 3 months.
Until then, we are going to enjoy our “family baby” and watch him grow and continue to hit milestone after milestone like we are fully believing he will 🩵

Forever grateful for @cindy.abneyphotography for capturing the moment Lash met his big brother and sister 🩵🩷 by @lexilaroux

And just like that, our whole entire world changed.

LOUIS JORDAN LAROUX 💙
(Pronounced loo-wee)

“Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ‘Abba, Father.’ So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has also made you an heir.” (Gal. 4:6-7)

God is referred to as ‘Father’ more than anything else in the Bible. I believe that we are all unfinished men that need fathering still. My son is here and his initiation into manhood has begun!

One of Boyhood with adventures and battles.
One of Wisdom and Stature and Favor with God and man.
One as a Warrior and a Lover.
One as a King.
And finally one as a Sage.

Louis, may you know Christ and make Him known. And never doubt your father’s love for you. I hope you read this one day and it fills you with the JOY your Mama, your big sister, and I have right now. Even as you shart right after a fresh diaper. Classic stanky booty head boi by @lexilaroux

Will require 2-4 business days to recover from October happenings ✌️ by @lexilaroux

Happy Halloween from The Incredibles 💪 by @lexilaroux

9 months of smiles and squeals and being toted around by Landry and perfect thigh/wrist rolls and blue eyes and drool and reminding us of all the things we get to be grateful for every single day

All the details of your baby at this age must be documented. By far the shortest stage of your baby happens to be my favorite so I’m biased when I say book this session. Just the baby, on a white and simple canvas to remember all their tiny yet big and beautiful details!

As Landry says “today’s release day”
Oh, a movie? An album? No. Just butterflies.
The sweetest, glitteriest, magical butterfly filled afternoon 🦋 by @lexilaroux

I love every single phase of babyhood…. BUT after 3 times, I can confirm that 7-9 months is tough to beat. Everyone’s sleeping! Sitting up and playing— but not crawling and getting into stuff. Personality is coming out. Rolls for days!!! Loves a snack. Loves a snuggle. Life is good with our miracle man 🩵 by @lexilaroux

I’ll treasure these photos forever 🩵
Next summer we will back again, but with different versions of each one of these kids, none quite as little anymore 🙂‍↕️
