Everyone has intuitive abilities; it’s just that some people have a greater level of awareness of when they’re using them.

How many times have you had a feeling about something, just known something without knowing why, or had a thought pop into your head that seemed to come from nowhere?

And then ignored it because you thought you were imagining things?

The thing is, most people aren’t even aware of how often they experience these moments because they’re so used to brushing them off.

BUT the more you start paying attention, the more you can begin to recognise how your own intuition works.

And no, that doesn’t mean every feeling or thought is your intuition talking! 🫠

Learning to tell the difference is part of developing your abilities.

There’s a big focus collectively at the moment around relationships, and specifically reciprocal relationships.

I’ve had some pretty illuminating experiences with friendships over the last couple of months and it’s made me look at where I’m putting my energy and who I’m giving it to.

People can say they care about you, but their actions will always tell you whether they actually do.

I’m someone who gives a lot to the people I care about. I’ll listen, support you, check in, make time for you and genuinely care about what’s happening in your life.

But I’ve realised I’m not willing to keep giving that to people who don’t give it back.

And I’m not talking about everything needing to be 50/50 all the time. Of course it won’t be. Sometimes someone is going through something and needs more from you. Sometimes you need more from them.

I’m talking about when you start to notice that a friendship mostly revolves around them. They’re happy to take your support, your time and your energy, but when you need that same care from them, it’s not really there.

I’ve had a few moments lately where I’ve thought, wow, I really didn’t see that relationship for what it was 🫠

I more saw what I hoped it was instead.

And that’s okay.

I don’t need to be angry or upset with anyone. I don’t need to make them wrong. I can just recognise and accept that this isn’t a relationship I want to keep investing my energy into 😊

Especially when I look at the other relationships in my life.

I have some fucking amazing people around me. People who show up. People who genuinely care. People who want to know what’s happening in my life, who celebrate with me, support me and let me do the same for them.

And having those relationships makes the difference really fucking obvious.

Sometimes letting go of a friendship isn’t about some huge falling out.

Sometimes you just stop investing in something that isn’t investing back into you.

And I think collectively, a lot of us are being asked to look at that right now.

🤔 Where are you putting your energy, and is it actually being reciprocated?

Sometimes life genuinely does need to come first.

There’s shit that needs to be done. People who need you. Responsibilities you can’t just ignore. Adulting can suck lol 😂

This isn’t about dropping all of that to “choose yourself.”

It’s just a reminder not to completely forget yourself in the process.

Circle back to you.

Even if it’s five minutes. Even if it’s later that night.

Ask yourself:

✨ What do I actually want or need right now?

And give yourself some of that.

You don’t have to completely change your life.

Just stop forgetting to include yourself in it. 💜 by @lexy_amoore

Wanting certainty can feel like trust.
That you’re trusting it’s going to work out.

But for me, deep down it was actually control.

Because no matter how strong I thought I was, there was still a part of me that didn’t trust myself to navigate whatever happened if things didn’t work out the way I wanted them to or the way I’d planned.

That was the part I needed to change.

Self-trust isn’t knowing everything will work out exactly how you want it to.

It’s knowing that whatever happens, you trust yourself to navigate it.

And there’s SOOOOO much freedom in that. by @lexy_amoore

It’s kind of hard to even give from an empty cup if you have no cup at all because you’ve given that away too 🫠

Here’s a quick exercise you can do to recharge and give yourself what you need.

I’m having another Phoenix moment 🔥

And I don’t think I’m the only one in this space right now.

There are some things I know are burning (insert the Elmo fire gif hahaha) 🤣

Parts of who I’ve been for the last decade. Parts of my work. Things I’ve built and identities I’ve held for a really long time.

And then there are other things in the fire that I’m still looking at trying to figure out 🤨🧐

I know there’s a new beginning coming.
And normally I find new beginnings exciting. Like I LOVE a fresh start.

But right now I’m just… waiting to see. I’m in this limbo space.

I don’t feel sad.
I don’t feel excited.

I’m just watching things become ash like 🫠 okay… do I sweep these ashes away or kick them with my foot? lol 😂

I can feel my work expanding beyond what it’s been.

I can feel myself expanding beyond who I’ve been.

And there are things that used to fit me that really just don’t anymore.

It feels both liberating and a bit unsettling to be honest.

I don’t know exactly what that looks like on the other side yet.

But I’m okay with that. I guess I have learnt patience after all this time lol 😂

I don’t need to put a new label on it or figure out exactly where I’m going while I’m still standing in the fire.

So for now I’m just watching.

Paying attention. (As best I can 🧐😎 hahaha).

And occasionally looking into those flames like… what the fuck else is in there? Can I burn more stuff? 🤣

Anyone else in their Phoenix era right now? by @lexy_amoore

Sometimes the reason you’re not getting anywhere isn’t because you’re not trying hard enough.

It’s because you’re focusing on the wrong thing.

You’ve decided THIS is the problem, so that’s where all your time and energy goes.

Trying to fix it. Understand it. Change it.

Meanwhile, the thing that’s actually causing the problem isn’t getting looked at at all.

It’s a LOT easier to work out what actually needs your attention when you can see the bigger picture. by @lexy_amoore

If you’re an overthinker, you know how quickly one thought can turn into ten 🫠

You think about what could happen.
Then what could happen if THAT happens.
Then there’s another possibility you hadn’t considered.
Then another way you could handle it.
Then you question whether you’re looking at it the right way in the first place.

And somehow, after thinking about it from every possible angle, you end up more confused, more frustrated and still don’t know what to do.

There’s actually a reason that happens...
And telling yourself to “just stop overthinking” isn’t going to fix it.

I’ve just put a new video up on YouTube about what’s actually happening when you overthink and what to do instead.

If you’re sick of going around in circles in your own head, go watch it (link in Bio) by @lexy_amoore

Ever get frustrated with yourself because you KNOW what you’re doing… but you keep doing it anyway?

I’m running a FREE 90-minute live workshop to show you what’s actually underneath your self sabotage and how to redirect it so you can stop going around in circles and actually move towards what you want.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT’S KEEPING YOU STUCK?

Maybe you already know you procrastinate. Overthink everything. Avoid things. Keep making the same decisions. End up in the same relationship dynamics. Start something and then pull back.

You are AWARE of those things. They’re easy to spot.

But they’re not what’s actually going on underneath the surface.

And telling yourself to just stop doing them doesn’t work.

In this workshop, I’m going to help you:

➡️ Identify YOUR self sabotage; including the ways you might not realise you’re doing it

➡️ Get underneath the obvious behaviour and find what’s actually driving it

➡️ Work through practical exercises to CHANGE it

➡️ Learn how to redirect the same willpower you’ve been using to go around in circles towards what you actually want

We’ll look at relationships, money, business/work, health and life in general.

And there’ll be opportunities for live hot seats, so I can work through some of your actual situations with you too.

Saturday 26 September
11am–12:30pm AEST
Live online + FREE

PLUS: The first 10 people to register and attend live will get a free 10-minute 1:1 Clarity Call with me after the workshop.

If you’re frustrated because you KNOW what you do but haven’t been able to actually change it, this is for you.

I caught myself doing this today… 🫠
I’m on a Personal 6 Day today, and my 6 connects into my 5, and I could FEEL the unbalanced side of my 6 coming through.

Doubt. Judgement. Procrastination. (So fun 😂)

That whole “Is this right? Am I doing the right thing? Why am I feeling like this?” FML lol 😂

And I could very easily sit here and judge myself for it and go, “Oh my god, why am I like this today? What is going on?”

BUT that isn’t going to help.

So instead I stopped and went, okay - what actually balances this energy out?

6 is a really nurturing energy when it’s balanced. It loves health, wellbeing, cleanliness, purification and actually taking care of yourself.

So… pamper time - Cue my midday face mask 😂

But I also stopped and connected back into my body instead of continuing to sit in my head thinking about it.

I put my awareness into my fingers and palms and actually FELT the energy there, then followed that awareness up through my arms and into my chest and heart space.

I didn’t need to figure out WHY I was feeling the way I was feeling.
I already knew what the energy was doing.

I just needed to STOP fighting with it and ask:

“How does my body want me to process this?”

And then I paid attention to what came up, to what popped into my head straight away.

Once I had that answer, I could actually DO something with it and start creating momentum again instead of sitting there doubting myself and procrastinating because I was stuck in my head.

Sooo the point of this post is that we can be so quick to judge ourselves for how we’re feeling or what we’re doing that we add a whole other layer to it 🫠

Sometimes you don’t need to analyse yourself more!!

Simply notice what’s happening. Come back into your body. Work WITH what’s there instead of making yourself wrong for it.

So if your inner bitch is being particularly loud today, try the exercise out.

Exercise:
Put your awareness on your own energy, sense/ feel into your hands and actually FEEL them. Follow that energy through your body.

Then ask:

How does my body want me to process this?

And see what you get. 💜 by @lexy_amoore

A lot of people can tell you when their needs AREN’T being met.

But ask them what that need actually looks like in practice and suddenly it’s… 🤷‍♀️😂

“I need more attention.”
“I need to feel supported.”
“I need more affection.”
“I need to feel appreciated.”

Okay… but what does that actually look like for YOU?

Because my version of support might be completely different to yours.

And if you don’t know, you’re basically asking someone else to figure out the car, find the keys, work out where you want to go AND somehow get you there 🫠

Your needs are YOURS to understand first.

That also means looking at where you’re expecting someone else to give you something you’re not giving yourself.

Then you can actually communicate what you need and give the people in your life a fair chance to meet you there.

They still get to decide whether they can or want to.

But at least they’re not standing in the fucking car yard trying to guess which Toyota is yours 😂

So… can you explain what your needs look like in a relationship? 🤔 by @lexy_amoore

You don’t always need to figure everything out before you make a decision.

Sometimes you literally CAN’T.

You don’t have all the information yet because some of that information only comes from actually doing something.

You take a step.
Something happens.
You learn something you couldn’t have known beforehand.
Then you decide what comes next.

But when you’re trying to guarantee that you’re making the right decision before you move, you can spend a hell of a lot of time going around in circles trying to figure something out that you simply don’t have enough information to figure out yet.

And I think that’s where this distinction matters:

Are you actually looking for clarity… or are you looking for certainty that you won’t get it wrong???

Because those are two VERY different things.

You don’t need to know exactly how the whole thing is going to play out.

Sometimes you need to make the best decision you can with what you know now, take the step, and trust yourself to deal with what comes next.

You usually find the clarity you’ve been looking for once you actually start moving. by @lexy_amoore
