. Invisible. Sensory. Simple. LICHEN is designed to be enjoyed in everyday life. Products are encased in the clean lines and smooth curves of porcelain ceramic containers. Minimalist forms are balanced with a deep material warmth: the clay is a soft earth colour, its surface gently grained to the touch, mirroring the organic tones and textures of nature. This is achieved through the highest quality of craftsmanship, with each piece created with handcrafted precision by artisans in Arita, a town in southern Japan renowned for centuries of porcelain heritage. All these elements ensure LICHEN’s sensory explorations of the natural world are rooted in the rhythms of daily life. - Creative & Art direction: @teruhiroyanagiharastudio by @lichen_scent
