Fotografie: @lidianvanmegen Visagie: @milamartinsmuah Tekst: @kimpalmaccio by @lickowisk

But what if it doesn't work out? I made this loaf recently for the photoshoot of a magazine, trying a recipe for the very first time. A sourdoughbread with figleaf and white chocolate. The flavour wasn't quite what I had in mind, and there are definitely things I'd do differently next time. But even so, it turned into a pretty and tasty loaf that I was genuinely proud of. And that's the beauty of sourdough. There's more to it than simply following a recipe. Understanding the basics, knowing what to look for and which little adjustments to make along the way can make all the difference. I know how intimidating it can feel to start. I almost gave up myself in the beginning to be honest, simply because my first sourdoughbread wasn't how I imagined it would be. That's why I now know, 13 years later, having a good foundation of knowledge makes such a difference. It helps you move beyond following instructions and gives you the confidence to understand your dough and create beautiful loaves of your own. And imagine experiencing that little moment of pride when you pull a loaf out of the oven that YOU made. Not just learning to bake bread, but discovering what you're actually capable of. Give yourself permission to be a beginner, to explore, to experiment and to surprise yourself along the way. Because what if it does work out after all? ❤️🥖 by @lickowisk
You've been thinking about baking your own sourdough bread for a while, haven't you? Saving recipes, watching videos, admiring those beautiful loaves and thinking: one day, I'll learn how to do that too. But somehow, one day hasn't quite made it onto the calendar yet. Maybe you think it's too complicated. Maybe you don't know where to start. Or maybe you just need someone to show you that it's actually possible. Well, here's your sign. A chance to finally get started, explore your creativity and switch off from the everyday rush while making something beautiful with your own hands. No experience or fancy equipment needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little messy. What you'll take home: 🥖 Your own dough made in the workshop, to shape and bake at home 🥖 A baked loaf, decorated by you 🥖A home kit with flour and our sourdoughstarter worth €34,95 🥖 Acces to our digital mini sourdough guide with tips and receipes. €125 per participant Ready to turn that little dream into something real? We will host the very last Beyond the Loaf workshop of this year on the 28 of November and will be given in English. Book your ticket via the link in the bio. ❤️🥖 by @lickowisk
You know those experiences that make you think, 'why don't I do this more often?' A table full of colourful pasta. Getting creative with your hands. Good company, unexpected little masterpieces and a few hours away from the usual routine. That's the purpose of the Art of Pasta Workshop. As this is a 1,5-2 hour try-out workshop, you can join for a limited-time price of €25 per person instead of €45! The workshop will be hosted in the greenhouse of Steck Utrecht and is plantbased. And no, you don't need to be artistic or have any experience. Just come as you are, get your hands involved and see what you create. You'll make your own pasta, take it home and hopefully leave wondering why you didn't try this sooner. Want to be part of it? Send me a DM with your emailadress and number of participants to join the list. Already on the list? Keep an eye on your inbox for the date announcement. Something tells me this is going to be one of those experiences you'll be happy you didn't miss. ❤️ by @lickowisk

Some days, for me as product developer, it is all about precision.Testing recipes, adjusting ratios, looking at the details and making sure everything works as it should. But I also make time every week to just play. No fixed outcome in mind. Just ingredients, ideas and a little curiosity about what might work together. I think both sides are equally important. You need the discipline to make something work, but you also need the freedom to explore what you haven't tried before. Because some of the most interesting ideas don't come from following a plan. They come from giving yourself room to experiment. A playfulness I think we often don't really make room for anymore in our life as adults. That's why it's part of the philosophy behind Lickowisk and everything that I share with you. ❤️🥖 by @lickowisk
Something exciting is taking shape… Lots of you have already signed up for the waitlist of the Art of Pasta Workshop. And seeing how many of you are excited to be part of it, makes this even more special. Some of you want to bring some friends, some are coming on your own. Life can get a little loud sometimes. Work, endless notifications, family, and a mind that nevers seems to switch off. But then you spend a day making sourdough bread from scratch, preparing something with your hands, and somehow, the noise starts to fade. That's what keeps drawing me back to it. Being present, slowing down, and creating something with my hands. It's one of the closest things >'ve found to pressing pause on my mind, even if just for a little while. And honestly, I think we could all use a little more of that. If this feels like you, you're in the right place. by @lickowisk
Some breads are worth coming back for, so it seems. Yesterday was the first time my Madame Jeanette Loaf made an appearance at the weekly pop-up at @noordertuinutrecht in @steckutrecht , and I honestly didn't expect it to disappear quite that quickly. I always have a board with samples of bread. Some of you came back for more, some were disappointed to hear it had sold out, and a few of you didn't even want to take the chance next time and pre-ordered for next week already. And honestly? That says more than I ever could. If you missed it yesterday, consider this your little heads-up. **Pre-orders for next week are open.** Navigate to the webshop via the link in the bio if you'd like me to save one for you. Because finding out your favourite bread is already gone before you get the chance to try it? Not the best feeling. ❤️🌶🥖 by @lickowisk
"We really need to plan something fun together" And before you know it, weeks have gone by. Busy schedules, work and everyday life… and that fun plan keeps getting pushed back. I mean don't we all experience that too often? So, what if this time you actually made it happen? During my Art of Pasta Workshop, we’ll spend 1.5 to 2 hours getting creative with colourful pasta. A chance to switch off, catch up, have fun and try something new together. No experience needed, just a willingness to enjoy yourself! And the best part? You get to take all the pasta you and your friends made home with you. As this is a try-out workshop, you can join for a limited-time price of €25 per person instead of €45! The workshop will be hosted in the greenhouse of Steck Utrecht and is plantbased. No date has been set yet. I’m collecting sign-ups and we’ll coordinate to find a day that works best for everyone. The special try-out price is only available for a limited time! Want to join? Send me a DM now with your email address and the number of people attending. I’ll keep you updated, and we’ll choose a date together! Stop saying “we should do this sometime” and let's make it happen. 🫶 Who will you bring on this pasta date? Tag them in the comments! by @lickowisk
