The magic of bringing the RIGHT people together! ✨

What a beautiful way to kick off my week in Austin!

Huge shout-out to @selena_soo, who not only throws the BEST parties but has a special gift for bringing incredible people together! 🥂

We celebrated her new Austin home at her housewarming party as she begins an exciting chapter splitting her time between Austin and Puerto Rico!

Loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and having conversations that went far beyond small talk.

A few of us who had just met even went for a spontaneous dinner filled with laughter, vulnerability, and deep conversations!

What struck me most was how naturally the connections happened.

Because I trust Selena, I felt comfortable opening up to people I’d only just met.

It reminded me that sometimes, all it takes is one person bringing the right people together to spark friendships that could last a lifetime.

Selena, thank you for being such a thoughtful connector and making everyone feel so welcome! So excited for your new chapter! 🥂

Because she shouldn't have to choose between her dreams and her well-being ✨

💛 Follow if this mission resonates. by @lievehendren

I used to doubt if I’d ever be able to live the life I dreamed of with my nervous system disorder.

The year I committed to healing myself, I created a lifestyle center on flow with these 4 nonnegotiables:

20 minutes of personal quiet time to mentally and spiritually prepare for the day

20 minutes of movement that feels good

20 minutes of focused, creative work (usually longer when I’m in the zone)

10 minutes of active recovery to clear stress before it builds up

Compounded over time, I’ve been able to do more than I ever dreamed up ✨

True story: I used to wear this heart rate variability trainer from Heart Math to train my body to stay calm and positive during meetings.

So when things went wrong, I’d reframe the problem as an opportunity.

In the face of criticism or rude behavior, I wouldn’t interrupt. I’d take a breath, stick to the agenda, and quietly feeling bulldozed on the inside.

Now I know that feelings are flow triggers. Addressing them sparks generative, inspired win-win thinking.

Life is too short not to work with people you admire and have fun with ✨ by @lievehendren

If you want to stop procrastinating, find your flow

If you want to lead inspiring meetings, find your flow

I used to watch other people's content all day to feel inspired and less lonely.

Then I discovered how screens spur on anxiety.

I finally started manifesting my ideas by creating before the office even opens.

I'm in 💜 with my morning routine.

Follow to learn how to love yours too ✨ by @lievehendren

This summer I'm in the middle of a very messy percolating process.

I've been growing my business and exploring potential opportunities, both in my new city I call home, Austin, Texas, and beyond.

And in the mornings when I sit down to journal and pray for guidance, my heart is still wrestling with something....

A yearning specifically to yet let other women know that they are not alone in this journey.

It's something I've never posted about, though, because I feel a lot of imposter syndrome and loneliness about this part of my life.

So I'm showing up live here, trusting the process and trusting that the timing is right for whenever I work up the courage and find the words that ring true.

Drop a 💛 if you can relate? by @lievehendren

1.I’ve used work as a substitute for a relationship. I love learning new things and contributing to others, but I also feel more in control eating in front of my inbox than waiting for strangers to ask for my number.

2.I don’t really know what my career purpose is. I’ve worked in all kinds of professional settings with top global brands to tiny fledgling non-profits. I’ve exposed myself to different professional roles/projects, a la Angela Duckworth GRIT style, but there isn’t just one thing that sticks. I’m always dreaming up new projects.

3.I really want to be a wife and a mom. I try not to get discouraged while building a life that will allow me to do that in the future, even though there’s a lot of uncertainty.

4.I’ve compulsively read over 300 self-improvement books/articles, but completely given up on personal development unless it’s focused on supporting me to be a more authentic version of myself or use my innate gifts and strengths.

5. Even though I count my blessings, I have an inner battle in my brain. It creates doomsday scenarios that put me in a state of fear like I’m about to lose everything. The-other-shoe-will-drop walking on eggshells feeling.

I’m aligning and becoming more true to myself, day by day, and trying to love the process it takes along the way.

Good times with great people. 💛

One of my favourite moments from celebrating Selena Soo’s 44th birthday.

A room full of amazing women singing at the top of our lungs, dancing, laughing until our cheeks hurt, and simply having the best time together.

These are the moments I’ll treasure.

Here’s to more good times and making memories with people you love. ✨
